Tom Furman has been involved in martial arts and conditioning since 1972. With an early background in wrestling and a student of the methods of the York Barbell Club, Tom immediately separated fact from fiction growing up outside Pittsburgh. His down to earth training methods are derived from his decades long practice of martial arts and his study of exercise science.

In Home Training with Tom Furman will be quite unlike any other training you have had. Most people envision a drill sergeant screaming at you to do one more rep. This is not Tom's style. He will work with you to see what it is you like doing and help you have an enjoyable routine that you will be happy to repeat.
Training online and through telephone is a powerful way to transcend distance and time. You succeed because you have someone objectively looking at your needs, setting realistic goals and coaching you appropriately. This program is the best alternative to training with me personally. I just finished six straight weeks of clay court events. You have to be fit for the clay. I was in two semi-finals and one final. Not bad for the oldest competitive singles player on tour who had a career ending back injury at 29. I am off to the grass in England and your drills from Concrete Conflict have made my recovery time and fitness level amazing.

Tom is truly one of the best trainers you will ever meet and work with. He is super reliable, and strives to get you healthier and fitter. Every other trainer I ever worked with has pushed me so hard, it injured me. If there is ever anything you can't do, he'll have five other exercises to try instead. He really knows his stuff. He is highly knowledgable about every system of the body and also about nutrition. He's trained world class athletes to soccer moms and grandmas. 5 stars! Tom rocks!
