While earning his J.D. from Gonzaga, Loren Waxler was interested in environmental law. Loren graduated from the University of Montana in 1978. He attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington and graduated in 1986. Between 1987 and 1990, he associated with Cooper, Lyderson, Cooper and Davies in Everett, Washington. He contracted with the State of Washington serving as a Guardian ad Litem in Parentage cases and began his practice emphasizing Guardianships and Family Law.

I hired Mr. Waxler through my companies MetLife Legal Plan. I reached out to Mr. Waxler and told him I was looking to obtain a Power of Attorney (POA) with the intent of having it signed and notarized during a family visit. This family visit gave him 8 business days to complete the document.
I received an initial draft that contained banking information and account numbers that I did not recognize, and after several conversations where I emphasized the desire for a general power of attorney, I kept received multiple drafts with specific activities that constrained my request for a general POA
