Dr. Bickel grew up in Eastern Washington and attended Eastern Washington University, graduating with his Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry. He then attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Before attending Dental School, he enjoyed his time working as a Dental Lab Technician, fabricating gold, porcelain, and zirconia crowns for patients.
At Redmond Art of Dentistry, Dr. Daniel Bickel is dedicated to using only the very best dental technology to provide better results for all of his patients. At our practice, we use a high-quality SOPROLIFE camera to provide intraoral photography and cavity detection as part of your regular 6-month oral examinations.
Making patients feel comfortable and cared for in our office is our top goal. As a patient, you should trust your dentist to provide treatment that's either minimally invasive or pain-free, and to offer solutions that help you live a better, happier life. Dr. Bickel offers a truly comprehensive assessment of your oral health with a 6-step oral exam. Intra-oral cameras, digital imaging and x-rays allow us see deeper into the state of your oral health. At Redmond Art of Dentistry, Dr. Daniel Bickel is a big believer in the power of preventive dental care.
Both adults and children should see a dentist for a teeth cleaning and examination every six months. If you have periodontal disease, Dr. Bickel may recommend that you come in every 3 months for periodontal maintenance. As part of the exams, our team will take digital x-rays to check for tooth decay and other potentially hidden oral health issues.

There's nothing I fear more than going to the dentist. With that being said, Doctor Bickel and his staff have gone above and beyond to meet my needs and reduce my anxiety as much as possible. I've gotten cleanings, dental work, and I'm in the process of straightening my teeth with ClearCorrect aligners. What I love the most about coming here is that I'm met with the same friendly faces each time I come. I don't have to get acquainted with an ever rotating set of staff and that means a lot to me. They're also very prompt. I never have to spend time in the waiting room. That helps a lot with my anxiety

The entire team from the reception staff, hygienists, and Dr. Bickel make coming here great every single time. Everyone is very upbeat and personable and makes the anxiety I have much lower and will always explain steps and processes in detail so that clients have the full information when they go in.

Dr. Nickel has been my dentist for nearly a decade. I first met him while having something of an emergency, and he and his staff have been there for me ever since. Cleanings, fillings, now an implant; all of them handled professionally, as painlessly as modern medicine could allow, and with utmost care for me and my dental health.

If you're looking for an incredible dentist, just call!! Dr. Bickel and his staff are wonderful, kind, and most of all, extremely knowledgeable. They keep up to date on all the latest in the industry and have all the newest technology. I've never really felt comfortable going to the dentist before, but at Redmond Art of Dentistry I feel safe and at ease and know I'm getting the very best treatment. I love this dentist so much, I scheduled a visit on a trip back to WA after I had to move to CT for a year. That sounds crazy, but when you find good people, you don't give that up! I am very excited to have found Redmond Art of Dentistry. I have had cleanings, checkups, and a filling repair performed by Dr. Bickel and his staff, all of which have been fast, friendly and with as little discomfort as possible. They truly care about their patients, which can be experienced by just a short conversation with any of their staff. They were also amazing during a recent visit for my two children (8 & 4). They were all excited to see kids which made both my children very comfortable being there. I highly recommend this office for the whole family.

Excellent, professional, friendly service. Quick and easy scheduling via phone, online portal, email, or text. They have a TV mounted on the ceiling for you to watch during your appointment, you pick the channel. Perfect distraction for kiddos. The front staff are happy, fun, upbeat, and genuinely interested in you as a person. The doctor and dental assistant are both highly personable and talented in their work. Love the office!
