Marlee Gamble, it's the only name you need to know. I have traveled the world and have had color by many top stylist however I can truly say no one has the gift that Marlee possesses. My hair has never looked so natural and healthy. It's like she literally turned back the hands of time. Anyone can add different colors and depts to your hair but it takes a true artist to make it 100 percent believable. Thank you Marlee for giving me a Perfect Crown to wear! Just went to my first appointment at this salon with Tamsyn. I recently moved to Charleston and she was referred to me by a friend. Glad I listened and gave her a shot because I am in absolute love with my hair cut!! It is so hard to get a shorter cut without it making me look like a teenager, and Tamsyn was able to give me a cut that is trendy and sophisticated. Can't wait to go back!

Love this place! I have pretty simple hair, I get a cut every 4 months or so. I go to Steven and he's awesome. The place is clean and nice, easy to park and I'm in and out quickly. Steven is awesome, super friendly and does a fantastic job on my hair and always discusses beforehand on what I want to do and whether or not I'm gonna change it up a bit. The price is super reasonable (I'm from NY and used to paying so much more) and Steven is always really accommodating for appointments, even if it's last minute. Would definitely recommend Elysium and Steven!

Since I usually keep my hair up or curly, it took me a few weeks to notice that one side was a couple inches longer than the other. I tried to contact the stylist who did the original work but she didn't respond so I ended up going to the store where Maggie helped me out. She did a great job and I recommended a coworker go in and have her hair done by Maggie. It looks great! I am docking a star because it is difficult contact the folks at Elysium. Most of the time your calls go to voicemail. They don't have a front desk so not sure if they have a dedicated receptionist.

I moved from DC to the Charleston area last summer and it took me a year to find the right hair stylist. I am admittedly OCD about my blunt bangs and blonde color, and Elizabeth nailed both, plus she has a really positive attitude which I find refreshing. I brought in a picture from a magazine of the look I wanted and she got it right. She really took her time and made sure my hair was fantastic. The salon is fresh and clean, they offer you beverages, magazines, whatever you need to relax.
