We want you to enjoy the whole process, from throwing around wild ideas to the last champagne at your reception. Well, we want you to enjoy the rest of the night as well, but you're on your own for that one! We're also all about paying it forward. We grab any flowers still hanging around after your guests have long gone, give them a little refresh, and hand deliver them to a local hospice to bring a smile to their residents.
Here at Contagious Events, our goal has always been to have happy clients. After ten years in the business, we know the key to happy clients is a fun experience. We help our couples plan at their own pace, avoid overwhelm, and keep everything organized in one place. Every client gets access to our online planning portal, which you can access from anywhere you have an internet connection.
At the start of 2020, we set out on a mission to help couples minimize the stress of wedding planning. Our vision was to host in-person workshops at our studio in Boston. Unfortunately, we've had to put those plans on hold for the moment, but we're excited to share that we are developing virtual courses to help couples with every aspect of the wedding planning journey.
If you are planning an outdoor wedding but need that final design touch, consider adding a wedding arch! We love the dimension that a wedding arch can provide to any ceremony space. We had planned a backyard wedding with our families and close friends and thought we could pull this off by ourselves...without a wedding planner. Two weeks before the date, we discovered Joe at another wedding that he had planned. He seamlessly pulled all the loose ends together, coordinated the caterer, the photographer, and the piano player, made floral arrangements on the fly, and created a décor that was specific and special to us. I cannot recommend Joe and Contagious Events highly enough. Joe was able to meet with my son and his fiancé and glean from them what sort of feel and look they wanted for their event before they could even articulate it themselves. His organization and attention to detail was flawless. When we experienced a glitch at our venue, Joe stepped in quickly and masterfully and managed to shield us from the fallout. Joe and the Contagious Events team was the best money I spent on my wedding. I was one of those brides who didn't think she needed a coordinator. We had an especially complicated wedding -- at a summer camp, with people spending the whole weekend camping, at an entirely DIY site. Starting months before, Joe gave me names of trustworthy vendors, walked me through every detail and offered to pick up tasks big and small. He made signs, seating charts, and even got us a beautifully decorated wooden shelf to display our guests' labeled drinking glasses. The dining hall was put together perfectly

Loved having Joe as our day-of coordinator! We got to enjoy our wedding as guests instead of running it from behind the scenes. I remember thinking how CALM Joe was about everything- despite late vendors, unruly guests, strange weather, and even a DJ bee sting!
