Our Young Warriors program is fun, interactive, and designed specifically for kids ages 8 to 12 years old! Our program for teens begin at age 13. Union Team BJJ was founded by Grandmaster Ricardo Murgel in Brazil in 1985. We now have affiliates all over the world! At Union Team, we pride ourselves on teaching our students real Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).
BJJ is an amazing mental and physical activity for kids, teens, young adults, and adults of all ages that are interested in learning practical real-world martial arts for real-world situations. In addition to the practical applications of jiu jitsu, Union Team BJJ in Alpharetta, GA also trains students according to their goals for competition in sport-oriented BJJ, including high-level competitions.

2 In case Jiu Jitsu cannot be practiced due to social distancing requirements, then we will provide the option to practice Mastermind Combatives Jiu Jitsu which is focused on striking only with full-face helmet, and gloves for maximum protection.

I couldn't be happier with my son's instruction, discipline and results. He is pulling in gold medals and has better techniques, takedowns and ground game than the last dojo.
This is a serious, old school dojo where incorrect applications are immediately corrected and everyone is taught to be respectful.

Bad Deal!
Contract will lock you in for a year and penalties for early termination are unbelievable (4 months of fees from date of notice). Better off signing up with a larger and more flexible organization that will work with you if you find your circumstances force you to stop training prior to the end of the annual contract.

There's not many opportunities in life where you will have a chance to train with an 8th degree Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. Master Murgel is the real deal and I have really grown in my jiu jitsu skills.
The school is clean, students are all nice and welcoming and the class sizes are small enough that Master Murgel can give personalized attention which I love.
Classes are a mix of beginners, blue belts, purple and brown belts. I like that there are girls here to train with too!!!
Great place to train. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn jiu jitsu and grow in their current foundation
