My dog and I had the worst experience at Gregg Animal Hospital. They are more concerned about Covid than helping dogs. Not all dogs are alike, and Dr Wilson doesn't like being told not to put a dog on the table because they are terrified of the table. They don't want you to go in with your dog. What are they doing with your dog when you're not in attendance?
He was upset because I had a mind of my own. This is the same doctor that made fun of my talking to my dog while she was being put down.

Firstly, our most sincere condolences to this team on Dr. Gregg's passing. Very, very sad to find out on our elder cat's last recent dental visit on December 2nd to discover the terrible news. The tribute to Dr. Gregg at the check- in desk was beautiful. I really like the doctors and their assistants at this office. They're so gentle with my dogs, and are really good at explaining everything to me, making sure I understand what they're doing, why they're doing it and what I need to do at home for my dogs.

My dog has been a patient for the past 6 years and the past 4 visits have been so ridiculous I'll no longer be back.
Dr. Gregg himself was not gentle and caring with my pet - he seems over his job. When we asked questions about a couple problems he shrugged them off as if we were overthinking.
I decided to bring my dog this June 2021 for a check up on said problems and was so happy to be seen by a new doctor (I didn't even know there were other Doctors available). I asked for updated vaccines because I was going to be boarding my dog. Everything was fine til I found out my dog did not

Gregg animal hospital is totally ridiculous. Besides wearing a mask you have to wait in the parking lot with your pet for appointment and continue to wait in parking lot to get pet back. Now have to go inside and pay unless you trust a stranger with your credit card. Also the reps are giving false information claiming all veterinarians are doing the same thing. Check for yourself.

My dog was boarded here for a few days. She now has kennel cough. According to my vet, it's not their fault, which I agree. He said kennel cough is going around and the vaccine does not protect against all strains.
My issue is the lack of concern when I called the office to let them know. He didn't ask if my dog was okay. Didn't ask my name. I told him that she had to have picked it up there because she is not exposed to other dogs at home. He said "okay, we'll sterilize the area". My question, did they sterile before she was there??

After spending over a $1,000 for services for my cat, she remains very sick with all the pre-existing distress and pain prior to my visits with her to this vet. On two occasions, while desperately trying to get some help from them, I reached one of their staff by the name of Claudia. She was rude, denying me an appointment to administer fluids for which I paid $55 for the bag, but with the understanding that I could bring her in for fluids with the bag in tow for a fee of $10 per application. I wish I could give this vet and staff 100 stars!!!! Both Dr Gregg and Dr Wilson are so kind and honest! We brought our cat in on a Monday for an emergency first time visit, I felt the price for visit, X-ray, labs and medications was completely fair!! Unfortunately my cat was just so sick and by Wednesday we decided we needed to put her down. Dr Wilson treated us with love and patience. I've never been to a vet that treated us so good!!! BEWARE! Veterinarian technician gave our puppy a 2nd rabies shot today by mistake. they were charging my husband for it that's how he noticed. they didn't look at previous copies of her shot records in their own files.

After waiting on hold for seven minutes to make an appointment for one of my three dogs, who all are patients of Gregg, we were scheduled an appointment for today at 4:00. I checked in and was told by "Sherry", seated behind the counter, that there was no appointment scheduled. I took my puppy in today to get her last vaccine shot. When the tech came to take her I had asked her for a prescription for flea meds. When the tech returned with my puppy she gave me a box of flea meds (bravecto). I told her I didn't want bravecto and prefer Nexgard. Just don't go here. My family started going to see Gregg when his clinic first opened in 1964 and we were always happy, but the last 5 years the service has declined drastically. My mom has been charged for extra services that didn't need to be done, my brother being told they don't need to check the large lump on the back of his kitten's head dispite it growing, splitting open and getting infected and my step-dad being shamed for bringing in elderly dogs who can no longer walk, see and are in desperate amounts of pain, because we made the hard decision to end their pain. I am writing this review to follow up on my last one. I am very disappointed in my experience with this veterinary clinic. We have been going there for years. It's usually for preventative measures like vaccinations and never had any issues. We were never given recommendations on any other screenings or tests. I never really thought about it because of our lack of knowledge in this subject matter. Now, we are about to lose our dog of 12 years to cancer. Friendly, reasonable prices, great staff, definitely recommend taking your pet here! This past May we needed to put our beloved Dachshund down, it was the most heart breaking even for our family. The only vet we will use! After moving to la mirada with our 4 dogs and 5 cats we struggled to find an honest, affordable, friendly veterinary office. After trying over 5 other vets, we found Gregg! Having so many animals (most of them being seniors) it seems like someone is always in the vet for something. Their pricing is VERY honest and affordable. Their treatment plans are very straight forward, where as other vets will normally try to add in a bunch of unnecessary procedures/ charges to get money out of you. We moved to La Habra and after seeing mostly positive reviews, we decided to bring our 12 year old pup in for care.
We brought our pup initially because he was coughing and having really bad nights, we are not sure which doctor saw him since we were not allowed in due to COVID-19. They let us know their findings and sent us home with medication.
He was doing well until a week later where it seemed the medication was no longer doing it's job. We called and spoke to, who we assume may have been a tech who suggested we change the dosage.

I’ve been going to the Gregg’s since May for my first kitten, Woojoo. We started with the kitten package which the price was very reasonable. Due to covid-19, I couldn’t go in with him for the visitations but all of the staffs were very kind and answered all the questions that I had in mind. Most of all, I was a little worried at first because Woojoo was still couple weeks old with some health issues. But I can see him that he feels very comfortable going to the Gregg’s. I have been coming here for the past 5 years with both of my dogs. Dr. Gregg and Dr Wilson along with their staff have always been very professional. Recently one of my dogs got very sick. We were in there every other day for a few months until she crossed over. Everyone was very sympathetic and helpful. I believe their fees are very reasonable compared to many others.
