We hired George Lagonia to remodel our kitchen and we had an excellent experience with George and his team. We had the great opportunity to attend the International Builders' Show in Orlando, Florida in 2002. We went anticipating that we would learn new techniques and tools to help make us more efficient. What we came away with was the realization that we needed to incorporate Green Building Practices into our day-to-day processes and procedures.
Each contract is slightly different. The basic payment terms set up is a deposit and then payments are due upon accomplishing milestones. This is documented via a standard AIA format. Percentages complete equals percentage paid. This system allows both the owner and us monitor all costs during the construction process.

If you are looking for quality work from an upstanding contractor, go somewhere else. This business is run by a dishonest man who takes advantage of both his workers and customers. George may have a reputation, but people who know him well understand that he’s not a professional. He is abusive to his employees, sometimes in the presence of the customer, and has no respect for either party. He has no qualms about cheating someone if it serves him. If zero stars was a possible rating, that's what would reflect the level of this "business".
