This includes an in depth consultation followed by a calming head massage during your shampoo. All haircuts are completed with a professional blow out and finishing style. Had an appointment at this salon based on good reviews. I am displeased with the service I was given. I made an appointment for balayage and was very specific about keeping my money pieces and keeping them the same tone, they just needed to be brought up due to my hair growing out. I ended up with money pieces that are a grayish/ash tone which I specifically said multiple times. Keep in mind I have very long healthy hair that I only dye 2x a year. I don’t ever leave reviews, but I paid over $300 for a master stylist to do my hair. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences being blonde. Well. The pre-colored part of my hair looks great, and the cut was fine. But the under part that I was originally just going to leave natural, but was told she would do something easy and wouldn’t damage it. Well. My hair is fried all over and mostly orange. Olaplex treatment and whatever else. I will not be going back.

I had my bridal hair and makeup done back in October. I wish that I had done a trial beforehand, but I had already wasted money somewhere else that was awful. I came to Amanda Maddox salon and honestly it was OKAY. The reference photo for my hair isn't what I got, and the curls fell out instantly. Even though I mentioned multiple times my hair doesn't like to hold a curl and I need a TON of hairspray. She didn't use much spray and on the hour drive to venue I basically had to recurl my entire head. My makeup had fall out under my eyes from the eyeshadow and I had to fix that, too.

Amazing. Ashley was really charismatic and knowledgeable about her profession. Next time I come I'm definitely booking Ashley again. I went to go get an icey blonde balayage, and I knew going in that I probably wouldn't be able to achieve it as this is only my second time getting my hair lightened and I have brown hair. Atmosphere is great, and the hair cut itself is nice.I have medium to dark brown hair with blonde highlights. I just came in for a foot touch up-everywhere else I’ve gone has put dark brown color on my foots(to cover up my naturally dirty blonde hair), then out highlights on it. I did show the stylist a photo though or what I wanted, which is totally attainable. Like i said just a simple root touch up. I had stated before we started that I liked my roots darker. She said no problem. But she put 0 color on my roots. Just straight bleach for highlights. Why would you not put color over my root

I’m naturally blonde. So, 2 months ago I got a hair color from Sally’s that was supposed to be a golden blonde. The box and color tube said 7G golden blonde, but it ultimately turned me this ugly orange color. I didn’t use bleach, so I have no clue how it came to be a bright ugly orange. Anyway, I knew I couldn’t go back blonde due to the orange in my hair without multiple sessions and heaps of damage, so I asked my husband what color I should do. He immediately said blue-black. Stylish yet comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with wonderful stylists who know what they’re doing. I rarely know exactly what I want to do with my hair but I’ve always left here extremely happy. I’ve been here twice - I had April most recently, and she is incredible. She got my color right on the first try, then gave me an incredible pixie cut and style that convinced me to embrace my natural hair pattern. Even better was that I was able to recreate the style the next day thanks to some simple tips she gave me, and a stranger told me “your hair looks phenomenal!”

I've received a consultation from another salon and was told I need a correction after this terrible "balayage" I received at this salon. All I wanted was my money back so I could go to another salon to fix what this place gave me and I was told that their clients are their walking advertisement. So I went in for a second time and was left worse. Theres a huge gap where no color was added. Spots that don't have blending. Transformed and loving it! After moving to Knoxville from Miami only a couple of months ago, I was dreading trying to find a new salon. After hunting around on Yelp and checking IG, I finally decided to give Amanda Maddox Salon a try. I called on a Thursday, and the friendly and professional receptionist found an opening for me that very Saturday. The space is immaculate, inviting and appointed with all sorts of new equipment. All the stylists are trained and educated with the best educators and classes. They have continuing education throughout the year and are up to date on current looks. I am new to Knoxville and was looking for a professional salon to cut my curly hair. Ellen was wonderful. She took the time to talk it through with me, ask my opinion as she went and allowed me to style it myself (the only way to know if I got a good cut). The price was reasonable, the salon lovely, they sell Redkin products and everyone was very pleasant. I'm in!
