I asked for a quote to install 160 ft of baseboards. I was quoted $1850 by Mak at primespec. When I told Mak that the highest of quotes I had gotten where $450; his response was that he had plenty of business and didn’t need me. I guess he thought that I inquired about a quote and that implied that I needed him. I think that was unprofessional and just because I asked him for a quote doesn’t mean I was out of options. He is an opportunist and tried to jack his price up because he apparently thought I was desperate. I would not recommend this business.

I am a retired management professional. During the past few decades I’ve handled my fair share of construction projects, big and small, both personally and professionally.

Our master bath toilet was leaking and ruined some baseboards around it. We sent maks some pictures of the damage and he responded within 30 minutes to give us a date and time for repairs . A couple of days later Maks fixed the toilet and replaced the baseboards all within an hour! We've hired Maks before and he was just as polite, punctual and professional as the last time. We are extremely satisfied with his quality work and reasonable rates.

Prime Spec is an awesome company that makes things possible! We bought a house that didn't have 2x4 interior walls, they were thinner. At first we didn't think that would be a problem, until we needed to change all of our doors. We went to shop for the doors they told us we will need to order customs doors, which meant we would have to pay lots of money for doors. So I went and talked to Maks to see what my options were and he said not to worry about it he would take care of it.
