You have come to the right place. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Orange County, California, and have been working with individuals and couples for over 20 years. I believe therapy provides an opportunity for healing and growth. I offer a nonjudgmental and supportive environment that opens the door to self-discovery.

We'll work together to understand what might be getting you "stuck" in certain areas of your life, drawing on your strengths to develop healthier ways of coping with the challenges you face. When appropriate, we will focus on relieving specific symptoms that prevent you from realizing your deepest happiness and fulfillment.
Services
I started graduate school aware of the desire to be involved in people's lives in a meaningful way. When I began my first semester of course work in psychology, I had a sense of confirmation that this was the right path for me. I have now been doing counseling for over 25 years and continue to be amazed at the depth of the human psyche and the strength of the human heart.
From time to time life can knock us down. Sometimes we get back up and continue on our path, perhaps even feeling stronger and wiser. There are other times, however, when life feels overwhelming and more than we can handle. Daily tasks that once felt manageable now feel exhausting and impossible to face.
Do you experience a certain sense of dread before starting your day? Have you noticed your heart racing and the palms of your hands feeling suddenly sweaty? When you feel anxious, do you tend to withdraw and to disconnect from yourself and others? Do you suffer from excessive worrying and fears? The discomfort of anxiety is one of the most common reasons why people choose to enter therapy.
Mindfulness is our ability to be completely present in our thoughts, feelings and body sensations with full-acceptance and without judgment. Cultivating mindful attention will deepen your ability to be present, help you manage difficult experiences, and create space for wise choices in all areas of your life.
Psychotherapy serves to help people alleviate suffering and develop the capacity for new, positive experiences. Suffering comes in various forms, including anxiety or fear, depression, family and interpersonal conflict, or poor self-esteem. Life naturally presents us with challenges and transitions, often at times when we are not at our strongest to handle them.
