I came to Health In Balance in June of 2010 with severe migraines, visual disturbances, extreme pressure and pain in my neck, shoulders and back of my head.

Love going to Health In Balance. They make you feel right at home while providing you great care and encouragement. Everyone is so kind and provides a relaxing space that feels like a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I'm about halfway through my treatment and have already seen improvements. I began working with Health in Balance in late January of 2021 and almost immediately began feeling better and seeing results. By May, I had dropped a lot of weight, corrected some spinal degeneration/structural type issues and lowered my blood pressure. Most of all, I changed my behavior and how I treat my body. I have received spectacular personalized care that adapted with my condition. Dr Gary and Dr Jordan have been great and super helpful in addressing the questions and concerns that I have had surrounding my condition and my treatment. The staff upstairs have been so instrumental in diminishing my back and neck pain. The best part is probably how encouraging the staff is in my recovery process. It’s easy to feel down when things are uncomfortable, but it’s hard to feel down when you have such a great group of people supporting you.

I am so grateful to the staff at Health in Balance! They are so caring, intentional, and thorough with their treatment. Snake oil salesmen. I spend $300 on ONE visit and that was with the new customer discount! Then, they tried to push $100 worth of supplements on me that I found on Amazon for $30. Had I kept my my next appointment it would've been $900. I don't know how they sleep at night. I just got the exact same thing done to me at a chiropractor that charged $45 and I feel better than I did for $300, Shame on them. I sure wouldn't want their karma.

My friend and I came to this place. While it might have great yelp reviews our experience was very different. We were given a hard sales pitch that included scare tactics saying that we may be crippled soon. They tried to sell us very expensive supplements. We were pushed and asked if there were no family members that could help us pay for it, asked if we had credit cards to pay for it, we felt like we were in a car dealership. Basically my friend was told that if we didn't come up with $8000 that she wouldn't be able to walk soon. Obviously we won't be back.

ALOHA WEEK at HEALTH IN BALANCE was a hit!! Morea will great you with a joyous smile& is an absolute delight. Dirk was warm & welcoming. He really is very skilled in his techniques. Dr. Gary gave me an adjustment. He really knows how to get in there & make those deep adjustments. I was impressed.. I really wanted to like this place because everyone has been friendly and for the proximity of location but their covid practices are unacceptable. The staff who wear masks wear poor quality cloth masks that are constantly falling off their faces and a few of the staff don't even wear their masks properly above their nose. There were even a few times that I saw staff and patients without masks walking around the office and I was astounded. After a few visits and tolerating these unsafe Covid practices, I finally complained to a few people in hopes that something would change and I really do

I discovered this gem last week & was extremely happy to know they are in Laguna Beach, where I live. My goal was to establish a wellness program under one roof and they cover all that at HIB. Their entire staff works together & it is a collective team that makes you feel like you are really being treated well. Everyone is so friendly & have great energy.
