Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Jeff Toman, who is a licensed, experienced Beaumont veterinarian. He is married with 2 daughters : Kileigh and Haley. He has been here in Beaumont for over 20 years and is the owner of West End Animal Clinic. I have an AAS in Veterinary Medicine. LVMT in Tennessee, became an LVT in the state of Texas. I have a BS degree and a degree in business management. I have 4 grown children that are making their way in the world and 2 beautiful grandbabies.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately.

I can call Dr. Toman's office and they know my boy's names. I have a 16 year old cat and an 8 year old poodle, who we've had less than a year. Dr. Toman has taken great care of both of my defective pets. My cat has had urinary blockage issues for years, but is doing fine under his care. My poodle had to have 9 teeth removed due to severe infection. He is doing find now, but he thinks he has to be hand fed and I'm ok with that.

Took my baby as walk-in he was sick and they treated him. The Dr. Took time to talk to me, explain what was going on with his health. They didn’t push hospitalization they gave me the option of preparing him to come home or staying for extra care.

Great Vet and Techs... They were a lil late with our appointment but we couldn't be upset because they were performing a surgery on a Kitty and the Veterinarian and his assistant, APOLOGIZED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER😉 other than that they treated my baby boy(great dane)"DAVO" with so much care and love, he got his puppy care checkup, boosters, and his puppy kit with free goodies on his 1st visit.. will indeed be back

To add an update to this person's response, I am clearly not going to leave my dying dog in for drop off and worry about him dying alone. At the time, I didnt know you or your practice and I obviously wasn't going to risk "just dropping him off." Teaching compassion and critical thinking, along with your policies would go a long way. The fact that it even took 6 months for you to respond speaks thousands.

Dr. Jeff Toman yelled and screamed at my sister last week and called her a liar, misdiagnosed medication for her dog, had a technician call her and explain he gave her the wrong dose, and threatened to call the police when she tried to use her husband's credit card. Unbelievably egregioius behavior!!!
Was upset I had to award him one star. Terrible man! Unprofessional behavior. Please go somewhere else to have your animals treated.

We originally took all our animals to West End Animal Clinic and we really liked the male doctor but we had taken in a sick stray Siamese kitten and the female doctor accused us of blowing smoke in its face in front of our child. We were mortified that she said that in front of our child and that she would accused us of something like that especially since we don't smoke in our household! It was extremely insulting and unforgivable. We never wanted to see her again after that and That poor kitten ended up having multiple liver shunts! The office staff learns your name and is always very helpful, whether I am asking a question or calling in to refill prescriptions.
The medical staff is super--a group of very caring and knowledgeable people, taking the time to become friendly with the pet, so that at least some of their fears are alleviated--which really comes in handy when they have to take the pet away from the exam room (to the lab, for procedures, and the like).
Dr Toman is very thorough, explaining in great detail the things he is looking for, and is always sympathetic with the pet

Very Appreciative of West End Animal Clinic!
We had been traveling for a couple of months. My Schnauzer has a Heart issue and was not feeling well. Dr. Toman's office was located in Beaumont, Texas which was a stop on our way back to Florida. I called and explained his symptoms, the receptionist got us an appointment right away. Dr. Toman examined him and prescribed a treatment which had immediate positive results. I was amazed at the service and kindness of everyone at his office. Everyone was so efficient, and caring, I cannot express how appreciative I am for his and his staff's concern

I gave this vet clinic four stars due to them being a little pricey for the services I received.
Great service though and got me in the same day I called which was great cause we are out of town.
Had to get blood work, X-rays, fluids, and some canned food that my puppy dog ended up loving.
Everyone was very sweet and supportive.

This is the BEST Vet that I've ever come across in my life. I was new to the area and rescued a little dog. My dogs are everything to me. When my dog became ill I took her to the animal hospital where Dr Toman saw her (he's my regular Vet), I didn't have money at the time because my husband was laid off from the oil fields and Dr Toman saw her for free and told me to bring her to the office the next day for treatment. Went to West End Animal Clinic to get my ferret "Oreo" his vaccination shots. The staff was very helpful and friendly, made me and Oreo feel relaxed and comfortable. The clinic itself looked clean however, the place did smell like animal urine. The doctor was really kind and checked Oreo thoroughly. Overall it was a good experience I would bring my exotic animal here again.
