Hardscape is usually the first thing you encounter when you enter a landscape. It's really the interface between you and the natural environment. It's what integrates indoor and outdoor living. Hardscape is whatever needs to be built. Everything from the paving to the BBQ island to the fire pit. It's all the stuff you'll interact with and it needs to be done properly.
All together they convey a sense of tranquility or excitement. They can transport you back to your roots or deliver you to a foreign land. And they're useful too. Use them to screen out the view of that ugly telephone pole or neighbor's second story windows. They look good, smell good, feel good and taste good.
OK, you've got your hardscape, you've got your plants and trees, what else is there? Well, there are the other things, large or small, that can make a big impact. These are the elements that will elevate your landscape to a different level. These things can give a space the 'Wow!' factor or enhance the tranquility.
The first step is to assess the situation. An appointment is made for an initial visit to see the property and meet you. Here is where you tell us what you are thinking; what you like, what you don't like and what you want to achieve. We should discuss budget if you have one. After this meeting a proposal will be put together outlining your goals, describe what we'll deliver and the design fee to put it all together.
Because of the wide range of options, pricing will vary with each project. After the initial free meeting we will have a good idea of the scope of the job and will create proposal for you. If you have any questions at that point we'll be happy to discuss it with you. We don't accept projects outside of our coverage area.

Darryl has been great to work with. He is most thorough and understands very well the key facets of all things landscaping and the best choice for and positioning of plants, shrubs, trees etc... Darryl's suggestions regarding our rear yard project involved building a new deck to maximize Ocean views, adding a flowing pathway, all whilst changing and mproving the look and layout of our rear area, both aesthetically and for practical purposes were the correct choices for sure.
