Kara did an AMAZING job from beginning to end with our wedding. We first spoke via phone as I was interviewing planners out of state. I was immediately drawn to Kara based on her straight-forwardness and professionalism. She knew all the right questions to ask and I could tell she was deeply listening because the draft budget she created hit ALL the criterias I mentioned. I feel like she has the perfect balance of friendliness and knows how to get work done.

I cannot provide enough praise to Kara and her team of vendors. While I know several recent and upcoming wedding celebrations had similar situations to mine and my husbands, I never for a second doubted that Kara made us a priority. David and I had gotten engaged pre-pandemic and booked our "original" wedding for September of 2020. Am so bummed on how working with this company turned out. Initially we spent a few weeks talking to a few wedding planners. I had my venue chosen, my photographer and videographer chosen. I should have just had a day of coordinator and not with this company. On my phone calls early on I stressed that I was set on the vendors and I am so glad I was dead set on them because they were the best people I could have possibly chosen. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. My husband and I are both technically challenged and both run our own established business wich take much of our time. Im personally incredibly shy and would always prefer to be a support to someone else. Even being on a public beach the entire experience felt incredibly intimate. I was concerned about being overly emotional as the beach chosen was one I looked at every day when I lived her in my 20s and my father's ashes are spread there as well. Aloha was recommended to me by our photographer and I am so glad I found them. I had just started the planning process and had multiple other planners ignore my contact or drop off the face of the earth when they heard how small my wedding would be. They responded immediately and proved they were the right choice in the first day. We planned or wedding remotely without having the ability to see or try anything. I found Your Aloha Wedding when looking up wedding planners in Maui. We knew we needed a wedding planner as we would be doing 99% the planning from the mainland. I reached out to a few planners and Kara was the first and fastest to respond to me (I think within a day)- after a phone conversation we were sold and booked her to manage our special day.
The whole process was the opposite of what you hear from many brides about planning a wedding- I felt pretty much zero stress as Kara handled everything and was so responsive and organized I trusted her completely. I miss our almost daily emails too

Kara was absolutely amazing! After calling a few other wedding planners, I was so relieved to have found Kara. We weren’t planning on spending a fortune on our wedding and she was not pushy at all compare to all others that I spoke with, and super helpful with anything that I asked for. We absolutely LOVED working with Kara and Your Aloha Company to plan our special day in Maui. We were planning from San Francisco and she made sure every piece of the planning and the day of ran smoothly. For context, our wedding was held at sugar beach events and was almost 100 people.

Your Aloha Wedding Company is a 10 Star wedding planning company! Kara was with me every step of the way! I didn't know the first place to start with wedding planning. I am from California and I didn't even know for sure I wanted to do a wedding in Maui until I talked to Kara. I found her on Yelp and she called me back the same day I reached out! I cold-called Aloha Wedding Company and the owner (Kara) picked up the phone. For me, that's a good sign. She was very friendly and helpful, explaining how they do things and the choices that we needed to consider.
We selected Aloha Wedding Company to do our Maui beach wedding. Tara was our coordinator and the process was smooth. Our wedding at Po'olenalena beach went off perfectly. Everything was taken care of and we (and our guests) just showed up to get married.

Kara and her team are the absolute BEST! They are connected with awesome vendors and know how to make your vision absolutely come to life! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and that is largely because of all the hard work that Kara did before the big day and then the day of. Kara is simply the best. I hired her to plan a party instead of a wedding and she adapted perfectly. She is so may things- Helpful, organized, responsive, detailed etc., Best part - we had a hurricane come up and she managed to move our party - don't even know how she managed it still. They went with me to tour venues and were so helpful in answering all my questions. Being new to wedding planning, their expertise and patience really helped me planned my perfect day.
