The Armistad Law Firm is located in the historic downtown district of Brookhaven, Mississippi at the address of 225 South Railroad Ave. From 2005 until 2009, the practice was operated as McMurtray & Armistad. After the retirement of Patrick McMurtray in 2009, it operated as the Armistad Law Firm. The Armistad Law Firm practices in the areas of personal injury, school law, and mass tort litigation.
The firm also represents seven (7) school districts and serves as hearing officer for many school districts throughout the state of Mississippi. Our firm is engaged in a general civil practice with heavy emphasis on Personal Injury and Premises Liability and other litigation of all types.

Nathaniel Armistad is a native of Columbus, MS and a proud 1986 graduate of New Hope High School. He received an Associate of Arts Degree from Clarke Community College. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Nathaniel Armistad also played Varsity Basketball while at Clarke College and the University of Arkansas at Monticello and worked during the summers at the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.Nathaniel is also a 1994 graduate of Mississippi College Law School. While in law school, Nathaniel worked with the Law Firms of Davis, Goss and Williams and Assisted as a Legal Writing Instructor at for the CLEO program at the University of Mississippi.
