At Tustin Pediatric Dentistry we have three Board Certified pediatric dentists. Board Certification means that they have undergone a significant amount of specialized training to gain this prestigious title. Fluoride is one of the many essential building blocks that a growing child with developing teeth needs in order to form and maintain healthy teeth. The Metropolitan Water District (MWD) now adds the very small correct concentration of fluoride to our drinking water.
For children who do not drink tap water or use certain types of filtering devices, fluoride may be prescribed in tablet form to obtain the same benefit to the teeth as those who drink fluoride water.It helps to remineralize teeth that have lost essential elements; mainly calcium. Demineralization, the loss of minerals in tooth enamel, occurs in everyone's mouth.

There is something wonderful about having a dentist you trust and like. And even better when your kids feel the same! My 3 year-old got her broken tooth pulled out today and while she was scared and cried during the procedure she did a great job and Dr. Kathy is efficient and caring. I would highly recommend her. My daughter is now happily enjoying a popsicle and fascinated by her tooth. Thank you, Dr. Kathy!
