I'm Amber Sehrt, a Fine Art Newborn Photographer located in Glastonbury, CT that has been photographing newborns, babies, and families since 2014. Several of my photographs have received awards and my photographic style has been described as deeply gentle and full of love. Raised in the deep South, I have a love of all things beautiful and find that babies and children spark the purest joy in my heart.
Newborn sessions focus on the newest addition to your family and also include sibling, parent, and family poses. These sessions are held on weekday mornings at my studio, resulting in 40-60 images for your review.
These sessions are designed to show not only your child's growth and budding skills, but also their interactions with you and your family. 1 hour sessions, done at my studio, your home or on location, resulting in 60-80 images for your review.Due to newborn and maternity demand, Maternity sessions are offered only to clients who are also booking a newborn session.

After working on location for the first few years, I can't tell you how wonderful it is to provide this professional photography studio to my clients. It is such a comfortable space for my families, and it makes creating gorgeous photographs of your babies an absolute breeze. I hope you like it, and more than that, I hope you get to come and experience how enjoyable it is for yourself.
If possible, it's best to contact me when your pregnancy is between 20-30 weeks because I tend to book up months in advance. However, if you've already had your baby, don't panic. I will occasionally have open dates that I can fit a newborn session. To hold your place on my calendar, I pencil your due date down on my calendar.
Due to newborn and maternity demand, maternity sessions are offered only to clients who are also booking their newborn photography session. A maternity session is the perfect opportunity to get those precious images of you glowing in your pregnancy. Best of all, you get the chance to work with me before your little one comes, allowing you to get to know me a bit and feel completely comfortable having me photograph your brand new baby.

I've been so lucky to have Amber take our family pictures. Not only did I receive the best shots for our Christmas Card but I finally have a beatiful portrait to hang in our home.
Amber is great with kids. Any mom would agree it's a challenge to get little kids to all look into the camera at the same time, it takes a true professional to get that natural smile on a shot. I couldn't be more happy with the final product.

We were so pleased with the photos from our newborn and family session. Amber is very talented and was great at communicating throughout the process from the first phone call to hanging the final product on the wall. She was excellent with our two year old as well and coming to our house made it that much easier! We would highly recommend her!

Amber is a very talented artist! Not only is she is a baby whisperer, she has such a way with older children as well, getting them engaged and excited about having their picture taken. Her vision is timeless and the memories she has created for our family are priceless. Having her come to our home and capture the pure essence of our our sweet and sassy baby's personality was exactly the experience we had hoped for. We cannot wait to find another occasion to need family pictures taken!!
