House of Print and Copy has been operating from the same location in Grass Valley since 1991. Over the years we have built long and lasting relationships with members of the local business community. JPG, GIF, PNG and BMP, etc., at 300dpi minimum for printing - 72 dpi files will not print well. For Printing: Make sure the file has been flattened to remove font problems, and make file size smaller for easier printing /transporting. For Editing: If you need us to do any file manipulation we can not change flattened files so if you want changes make sure you do not flatten the file you send us.

A bleed is simply extra background image that goes beyond the cut edge of the product, this allows your images or colors to be edge to edge rather than have a white border. On a press or copy machine, the artwork must be printed on a larger sheet of paper and then trimmed down to size.

If you do not allow for a 1/16 (.0625) of an inch bleed (SOME PRODUCTS DO REQUIRE MORE BLEED PLASE ASK IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHAT YOUR PRODUCT REQUIRES)., any misalignment can result in cutting variances and the artwork not running to the edge of the paper.If you have designed a standard 3.5" x 2" business card with a photograph covering the whole area, you will need to enlarge that photograph to 3.5625" x 2.125".

Choose from a variety of copiers to meet all your copy needs from high speed black and white to high quality color copies. We can work with your camera ready artwork, or copy straight from your MAC or PC computer disk to produce high quality prints indistinguishable from the original.
