Amy Weiler Photography is a Southwest Florida photographer who specializes in capturing memories & portraits on the beach for families vacationing in Florida. Based in Cape Coral, and serving the surrounding areas including Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Ft Myers, Bonita Springs, Boca Grande, Venice, Naples, Marco Island and everywhere in between.
Every session begins with me getting to know a little more about your family and your visit to our special slice of paradise. For many families it's their first time visiting while others have made it a yearly tradition. Whether you're here for a family vacation, special occasion, or just needed a change of scenery, my goal is always the same - to capture your family, just as you are.
Once you've officially reserved your date, we'll set up a time to chat over the phone to go over the session in further detail. We'll chat about what you're hoping to capture in your photos.what is your main focus of the session? Grandparents playing with the kids? Your big kids going off to college?
This is the number one question I get asked. Don't get discouraged when you plan on coming down between May - October and see 80% chance of rain. Florida is known for its summertime thunderstorms, but thankfully they are short lived. It may rain on Ft Myers Beach, but not in Naples or Sanibel Island.
I cannot say enough about Amy. My family and I were visiting Florida and looked long and hard for a photographer to capture a long-overdue family photograph for us, with the stunning backdrops that we just don't have in the Northeast. I knew when I landed on Amy's page that I had found our person! She was responsive and kind, flexible about scheduling, and her turnaround time to share a gallery post-session was - no joke- immediate.

Amy was absolutely incredible to work with. The pictures turned out amazing!!!! She was easy to work with, responsive, professional, so great with my kids and has quite an eye for photography. My husband couldn't get over how great the pictures were and he rarely gets excited about them! I cannot recommend Amy enough. The beach she took us to was perfection.

Amy was amazing to work with! We experienced a bit of rain as soon as she arrived but she was so calm and immediately started her work to avoid us all getting drenched. Thankfully the clouds parted and the photos turned out beautiful! I love how she calmly directed us all and even got my young kids to listen!!

I absolutely loved working with Amy! Her communication was quick and she was always available for any questions or help with styling! We have kiddos and she knew how precious time was and knew how to work with and relate to them. The quality of our photos was everything I had hoped for in a family beach session. Our original beach choice wasn’t going to be the setting I had hoped for and she knew exactly where to go to get the vision I was wanting. Amy beautifully captured our family vacation after a year long deployment! 💜. I will always cherish these!

We just couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out. Narrowing down to just 30 images was a challenge because we just loved every single one so much.
Amy was very responsive, easy to schedule with, she set good expectations for when to expect to receive the photos back, and the final product was everything I envisioned and more!
You would never know that my 2 year old didn’t want her picture taken and was super crabby during the session :-)… Amy managed to capture so many smiles!
I would highly recommend Amy for anyone looking for a family photographer!

Words cannot even express how much we love our photos and our experience with Amy. From the very start Amy made us feel so confident in our decision on selecting her to be our family photographer. She made me comfortable in the styling department and was there every step of the way to make sure we made the right choices for the best looks on us all. We absolutely loved our photography experience with Amy. We came from out of state, and she made it all go very smooth with responsive communication and tips. I appreciate the fact that she paid close attention to the weather and sunset, shifting the beach to one less windy and timing the shoot perfectly. She worked very well with our kids. I really loved the casual, fun feel of the shoot. It didn't feel stiff and formal, and the photos reflect that. Our photos were gorgeous and just what we wanted. Highly, highly recommend. It's worth the investment!

WOW! To say that I am obsessed with our photos is an understatement. Amy did such an incredible job, from start to finish. Booking, paying, wardrobe planning and gallery delivery were all made easy. That's so important when planning a busy vacation! Everything was seamless.
I had two small kiddos and one on the way, and Amy handled the toddlers with ease. My 3 year old had her shy moments, but Amy got some beautiful, genuine smiles out of her. My 1 year old refused to let her feet touch the sand, but you would never know by the photos. I was instantly put at ease with her confidence and direction

Amy is incredible! She did a beautiful job with our maternity photos when we were in Captiva for our babymoon. From booking to picking the prints, she made the whole process so easy and fun and we love how they all turned out. She has an amazing eye and coached us through the whole shoot so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend!!!
