The procedures we use are therefore specifically selected for your spine and nervous system health. There are a couple of things that you should expect when you have a first visit at our clinic. Our Examination consists of a thorough spinal and nervous system exam which includes "Palpation". Palpation essentially is checking your spine by hand.
One moment everything may seem fine, when suddenly you're involved in a serious collision. Most people have one thing on their mind after a car accident their car! However, it's important to remember that you and your injuries come first. A visit to a chiropractor should always follow an auto injury, as chiropractors are specialists in damage to soft and hard tissue.

I had suffered from debilitating migraines since 2003. I have been to several neurologists, including Cleveland Clinic. I have also seen several chiropractors who provided some relief but never prolonged relief.
I first visited Southwest Spine Center in the fall of 2020. Dr. Awwad was the first one to prescribe a plan where I initially went for treatment three days/week for five weeks. Since then I have been on a monthly maintenance plan and do daily stretches. My migraines weren't cured overnight, but they happened less and less. I can now say that I haven't had a migraine since September, 2021

This was such a great experience! After months of suffering, I finally found help! The staff at Dr Awwad’s office are so great! Kind, knowledgaable and take time to chat with you! I"ve been dealing with this back and leg pain for over 8 years.After dealing with many Doctors with no help I thought I would try Dr. Awwad and I"m glad I did. He was honest and caring alomg with his staff. I"m at about 70 percent better than when we started. This is safe and painless and I would recommend this this to anybody with back problems. I have been to other chiropractors before that we’re willing to take my money but not many results. Dr. Awad @ Southwest spine center in Colon is the FIRST practice that took the time to explain what was happening and actually gave me the tools (stretching and strengthening excercises) to not only help provide relief from the pain and headaches I was dealing with because my neck/spine was out. Very efficient and understanding on pain levels. I would recommend this practice to anyone that needs or is looking for chiropractic care

When I first started going there, a little over 3 months ago, I could barely move my neck and shoulders. I was in so much pain that I was taking pain medication all day every day just to be able to function. Since seeing Dr Awwad, I have completely gained back mobility in my neck & shoulders & I feel better than I have in years! I couldn’t recommend him more! Going here has completely changed my quality of life & I’m able to keep up with my kids again.

Dr Awwad at Southwest Spine Center In Colon Michigan was one of worse doctors who did absolutely nothing for me but take $5,000.00 and told me he could help me. He had to have the money up front and lied to me telling me he could help me. When a back specialist read my MRI he told me that nothing could be done other than back surgery to correct my problem. This doctor does not know how to read an MRI report and is in it for the money. When you are in so much pain he takes advantage of you and drains your pocket book and bank account.
