I grew up in Birmingham, AL and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Did I get my degree in photography? No. The arts? Not even close. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. I have worked as an engineer at Southern Company and an analyst at Southern Natural Gas. I "retired" from the corporate world in 2016 and now work full-time as a photographer and real estate investor for Barkley Properties.
