Our difference is immediately noticeable as soon as you walk into our office. There are many different ways that our office stands out when compared to other medical/health facilities. It all starts with out friendly staff! Although our staff has a combined experience of over 25 years at Rockingham Chiropractic Center our difference really shines through our compassion for our patients.
Thank you for taking a moment of your time to learn more about our office. First allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Matt Thompson and I am a native of Greensboro, NC. Ever since I was a small child I have had a great love for athletics which led me to my first chiropractic experience. When I was playing baseball for college I experienced a horrible pain in my lower back.
When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, our friendly staff will welcome you to our office. When possible, we request that your paperwork to be completed upon coming for your appointment (this will save you 10 minutes on your first visit). This will help to ensure a low wait time to meet your doctor.
I found out about Rockingham Chiropractic after reading an article in the newspaper about chiropractic care. I was having a number of problems such as neck pain, shoulder pain, and general pain in my joints. I was also having migraine headaches. After I was evaluated, I found that my problems were contributed to misalignments in my spine particularly in my neck.
Some people are hesitant to make an appointment due to unanswered questions. The staff at Rockingham Chiropractic Center strives to make all of their patients feel 100% comfortable and at ease. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Thompson and his staff. The girls there go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome everyday. There is not a day that I have been in there over the last year that one person is not happy and smiling. Dr. Thompson is thorough with all of the information that you need as well as making sure you are happy with your progress. I have recommended them to everyone and will continue to do so!

Dr. Thompson and his staff are very caring and friendly the moment you walk in the door! They always have a great attitude and want to help you! Dr. Thompson is very thorough in his care for you and does more than just help your back! He helped my Sciatica pain in my hip and is helping with my weight loss journey. I have been going to Rockingham chiropractic for 6 months. Within a few weeks Dr Thompson had my hip and lower back feeling as if I had double the range of motion and half the stiffness in the mornings. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Not just a chiropractors office, but a family. Walking into Rockingham Chiropractic office is not your typical doctors visit. You’re greeted by a happy and welcoming staff. The rotation process for adjustments is quick and efficient. So if you have a busy schedule or a flexible one, they make sure it will work for you. Not only do they have a high regard for taking care of your needs, they also care for the community outside of their office. I love that they constantly are giving back In some way. I have experienced many years with lower back, neck and even the occasional numbness in my hand. After deciding that enough was enough I found Rockingham Chiropractic. Let me just tell you that Dr. Thompson and his staff are phenomenal!! After a few visits I could feel my posture improving and started getting a better nights sleep. I've been a patient here since 9/2020 after I started lifting weights again and noticed how asymmetrical I was with certain lifts especially shoulder raises. I hadn't been to a chiropractor in a long time after I had spent countless money and time with no real relief. I'm a skeptic (NY mentality! Ugh.) and have always had a negative mindset regarding this type of medical approach. I've suffered with lower back pain for many years and have extremely stiff shoulders and neck. In February 2020, I tore my meniscus on my dominant right leg, while running. Love the care my husband and I receive from Rockingham Chiropractor. Dr Thompson and his team are always happy to see you as you enter the front door. The adjustments I myself have been doing for the last two years have made a world of difference in my posture and back pain. My knees don’t hurt like they did before. Dr. Thompson is awesome. Not only is he skilful, but he is genuinely concerned about his patients. He is always friendly and takes the time to address your concerns.

Dr Thompson and his staff are always cheerful and make you feel better when you walk in the door. They greet you when you come in and tell you bye when you walk out the door. Dr Thompson is very knowledgeable about your spine and helps many others to feel better. Every time I visit his office there is a steady stream of patients coming in for adjustments and they are all complementary of the treatment they receive.
