Our designers work directly from their sketches, then change their pattern before making your gown. That means that as your modest wedding dress is being created, the actual pattern is modified and your gown is made modest right from the start. During your appointment, we'll show and guide you through designing your sleeves, raising a neckline, or re-imagining your bodice.

Beth was amazing. She is the most supportive kind soul I have ever met. She helped me all throughout choosing a dress from selecting the dress, to getting me into the dress, to adding a veil. Her energy was amazing. She made the appointment so easy. Honestly, I was indecisive about what dress style I wanted and she was the most patient human being.

Loved this place. I ended up finding "the dress" at a different shop so I don't have experience buying from them but my bridal appointment was awesome! My consultant was amazing and made me feel comfortable and less overwhelmed. They have lots of different options, and they offer a lot of variety in the modifications they can do.

I loved my experience shopping with Alta Moda. My consult was very nice and helped me find the perfect dress. I am giving them a 2 star rating because the day of my wedding I had 2 buttons fall off my dress before my ceremony even started. At the end of the night I had lost a total of 4 buttons. A gown from this upscale boutique should not be losing buttons at their price range.

Alta Moda Bridal was one of my last stops in the hunt for my wedding dress, although it should’ve been the first! They truly have different styles and sizes for every bride! I tried on several dresses during my fitting and all of the staff made me feel beautiful in every dress that I tried on. I came out in a dress by a designer that I have loved for years (that only Alta Moda carries in Utah) and we all knew that it was “the one.” I ordered my dress in February and it was set to arrive in August. Start to finish my experience at Alta Moda was incredible. Not only did I find the dress of my dreams, but Lexie helped curate offerings for me prior to my visit that were exactly what I had in mind . She also wasn’t afraid to to offer me a few options that were a little different than what I had communicated to her as my try-on sessions progressed and she gained a deeper understanding of what I was looking for. Ultimately, my dream dress ended up being from a designer I had originally dismissed! When I picked up my dress it was another welcoming, fun experience. Highly recommend to any bride

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with this shop and would not recommend it to any of my friends. After finding my dress, we worked on how to modify it to make it garment friendly but my suggestions were shot down. I felt completely silenced and rushed by the staff member who was rude the whole appointment. She wrote up the modifications slip without my suggestions and rushed us to sign it before placing the order. Then, the dress was delayed. They promised me they would pay for rushed shipping and they didn't. When I asked for a tracking number or a general time frame, they said

I would've given it 5 stars but this store is very expensive. That being said--Great styles to choose from and a variety of sizes to try on. Nice consultants, picked out great dresses to try. No pressure in buying a dress, kind to work with when looking for a dress. If she buys a dress from here I'll post after sizing has been completed.

They assured us their seamstrss could make it fit like a glove and make it temple ready.
Rebecca at Rebecca Richards alterations was absolutely awful. No communication, no fittings! We had to bug her again and again and TWO DAYS! Before bridals we got a fitting! (Only one except drop off day)
Dress gaps everywhere and of course no time to fix it. Leaving for wedding in another state. Please stop using this seamstress.

A few weeks ago I found my wedding dress at Alta Moda Bridal and I am in LOVE! This was my first appointment with a bridal shop for the day and Kate helped me have an absolutely wonderful experience. She is amazing at her job as a bridal consultant and is so stinkin' sweet! 💕

The dresses are stunning and the staff is so helpful, although they do seem to be a little cold and rude. Aside from that, this place is amazing!! Unlike most bridal shops in Utah, the dresses are made to order! You don't have to worry about significant alterations because your exact measurements are sent to the designer. Further, if you need to modify a dress to make it more modest, the designer actually does that!! Instead of worrying that your beautiful dress will now look like patchwork, the vision and feel of the dress are maintained while your modesty needs are met! I had an incredible

My experience with Alta moda left me on cloud 9. When I walked in, I knew that I would find the dress of my dreams. While Walking up the stairs, trying not to trip as I look at the beautiful dresses displayed in the front of the store, I'm greeted by this bubbly, lovely woman name Kori. She was waiting for me and knew exactly who I was as soon as I reached the top. She sat with me while we went over my vision of my wedding dress and looked at my Pinterest board. I never write reviews but in this case I feel the need to share. This is supposed to be a lovely experience and I feel the consultant helping my daughter was very friendly, happy and helpful(Elisabeth) but as for the rest of the employees.... rude comments, dirty looks, and very disrespectful. I tried very hard to not just get up and walkout.
When looking for the perfect dress I would have spent any amount of money for my daughter! It has been a true journey for her to even get to this point. So when I buy her dress I want the experience to be one to be cherished and I truly

I had the best experience here today with Emily as my consultant!!! She was super patient and helpful, didn't make me feel rushed, and gave great expertise when it came to helping me pick out and customize my gown and accessories! I highly recommend Emily and Alta Moda!!! Sierra was also super helpful when it came to a setting up my appt and answering my questions before my appt! Can't wait to wear my gorgeous Alyssa Kristin gown on my wedding day!

I came here to help my cousin try on wedding dresses. My cousin was so excited to come here because she has been following their instagram account and this shop has a lot of hype on social media. The store itself is very cute, but they have the worst customer service!
I walked in after my cousin was already there, and when I walked in, the lady at the front desk, (dark, curly hair, with a permanent frown on her face) which I later found out was the manger or owner of some sort, gave me a really weird look. I liked this place at first. The lady who was helping me was really nice and patient. I came back for a second look with a friend and asked to try on one of their dresses. A lady who was not helping us and who dresses all in black with super curly hair, possibly the manager, but she never introduced herself to us, started arguing with our lady and saying that I didn't actually want to try on the dress and had her have me try on a completely different dress that looked like a night gown. Alta Moda referred me to a lady to alter my dress and it was a disaster that ended semi ok. They sent her way too many brides, my dress was a mess a month before my wedding when it was supposed to be finished, so I picked it up a week before my wedding there were still threads hanging off and the sleeves were uneven, but CANT POSTPONE MY WEDDING SO YOLO. I expected her to be awesome since Alta Moda prides itself on being able to take any dress and seamlessly make it modest. NOT. Alta Moda has beautiful dresses, but their odd policies make it difficult to give the more than 3 stars or buy a dress from them. The most difficult policy to deal with is that they don't allow photos, which is something I've not encountered at any other bridal shop (including other very nice ones). Not being allowed to take photos meant I couldn't get the input of my friends and family (which is hard because I'm not originally from Salt Lake so I couldn't have them there with me). Alta Moda Bridal really made me feel like family. I am an out of state bride and they worked with my schedule to get me in on a Saturday. The boutique was beautiful and from the moment we walked in they made my mom, dad, and I all feel very welcomed.
My price range was on the low end for the boutique but they were really accommodating and assured me we would be able to find something I loved while staying in my budget.
The girls were amazing and really detailed oriented. I received friendly texts messages from a personal consultant throughout the entire process from setting up an appointment

Buying my wedding gown from Alta Moda was an incredibly, personalized, and intimate experience. They really went above and beyond the make sure I picked the perfect gown for me and to made me feel so special.

Alta Moda was a very helpful in making my Wedding Dress dreams come true. On my first consultation Megan was very helpful and pulled some gorgeous gowns for me to try on and talking about options for the dress that I wanted, the only unfortunate part was having to visualize what the dress would look like but that is the case with any dress trying to make it modest.
