Ultraviolet energy is an electromagnetic wave that is generated by excited mercury vapor. The fluorescent bulbs above your head are of the same nature except bulbs designed for generating visible light employ different glass in the construction of the bulb, and a fluorescing powder coats the surface inside the visible light generating bulb.
Ultraviolet energy has a unique characteristic affect on cells. When properly applied, UVC causes cells to become incapable of reproduction, preventing infection by the organism. UVC energy is an electromagnetic wave that penetrates deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) or ribonucleic acid (RNA) of microorganisms.
The versatility of MoonBeam3 allows users to position the heads to disinfect multiple targeted surfaces simultaneously and allowing maximum UVC dose to be applied. Near proximity allows time-efficient cycle times starting from 90 seconds while the individually adjustable UVC heads each generate a broad umbrella of intense UVC light creating a wide disinfection zone.
Of course, MoonBeam3 offers logging and reporting. Its easy Android based system logs data on the base for access by a typical tablet, and optionally, sends an email of the data. Easy. But, let's talk about what really matters - disinfection. Getting it done, day in day out, by a widely varying cross-section of staff.
2. Lift the UVC arms upward and rotate the reflector outward so the bulbs point toward the area you want to disinfect. 3. Exit the room and place the Remote Cover in front of the door, press the power button, if it is not already on, and Press "Start". The system will automatically run the cycle and show "In Process" while operating, and then "Process Complete" when finished.
