All of our lead teachers have university degrees in their artistic disciplines, and also have early childhood experience. They have been selected for their dedication to the arts and their love for teaching young children.
We've been sending Chloe to MAS since moving to Frisco three years ago. The education has been fabulous, and the warm, caring attitude of the school and staff have been as instrumental to her growth as has been the breadth and depth of the curriculum. Our only regret is that MAS doesn't offer first grade or beyond.
Children in Preschool love the familiar activities of "morning circle", and we start with this each day in Class. Weather, calendar, seasonal events and more are typical conversations that students have during this vital learning and sharing time. Weekly routines are structured around letters, numbers, and writing that are carried through the entire school environment.
Our Preschool in Frisco focuses on the basics of Kindergarten readiness for 4 and 5 year olds; letters, writing, reading, shapes, colors, numbers, counting, calendar, weather, history, geography, holidays, socialization, class behavior and circle time, etc. Child guided themes are woven into the fabric of each area of the school, and activities are coordinated between all teachers.
Short Rest Period, required by State Licensing, for campers who have not completed Kindergarten. Short movie time, crafts, games, much more. I probably toured over 20 preschools in the area of east and west Frisco, not to mention the Plano and McKinney areas. We went to schools HIGHLY recommended by other moms only to find a stuffy school with kids who looked like zombies. I went to others who promoted education through play that looked like the monkeys were running the zoo and didn't look to provide any Kindergarten readiness or great experience other than ensuring my kid was still alive at the end of the day.

Love, is the best word to describe MAS. From the time you walk in the door, and are greeted every morning with a friendly smile, to the amazing teachers, I have never felt so much love from a preschool. I wish I had discovered it earlier, but am grateful that my son got to spend his last year of preschool here. He gained so much confidence, and a love for art. We were sad to leave at the end of the school year, but I know my son is more than ready for kindergarten. Thank you to everyone, for your patience, kindness, and compassion towards my son

My son just finished his 2nd year at the Musical Arts Schoolhouse which is located inside the Frisco School of Music. We couldn't have asked for a better early childhood education experience! The teachers are phenomenal! They are caring, loving and your child will be sure to get lots of hugs and support!

My daughter spent one school year at MAS, and the entire family loved it. This was her first experience outside of home, and we didn't want it to be anything less than a positive one.
I'm going to start with April, who manages the day-to-day operations - she is an absolute joy to work with; always positive, caring, and responsive. She played a huge role in making us feel comfortable during the first few weeks.
It was also comforting to know that my daughter spent a good amount of time (for her age) focusing on art, dance, and music. These classes are thought by qualified instructors

I began researching and touring preschools when my daughter was 2 1/2 years old. By the time she was 3, I thought I had it narrowed down to 2 preschools. I had heard a few people mention Musical Arts Schoolhouse so I decided to do one last school tour before making my final decision even though I was already set on which one I'd be sending her to.

This school is amazing! My son has been here for one year in the pre-school program and he has progressed so much. The teachers and staff are very attentive to the kids and hold each and every child dear to their heart. The way they show love and care to each student, I have never seen at any other pre-school. The programs they offer these kids, music, art, theatre, dance, and academics, really helped my son come out of his shell and excel academically and socially.

My daughter attended Musical Arts Schoolhouse for 2 years and really enjoyed it. It was her first experience in this kind of atmosphere since she never spent any time in daycare. We were pretty nervous, but the teachers did a great job at making her feel comfortable. The location is a little annoying to get to but not hard to find. It gets a little congested with picking the kids up since everyone is there all at once.
They do a great job at getting the kids involved and they put on some super cute shows! They also have a webcam option to allow family to watch from afar. Pretty neat!
