This new location is nice. We sat in the covered outside patio. As expected Sat noon was busy and had a wait. Food is good. Liked the home fries way better than the hashbrowns. They have your staple brunch food which satisfies your brunch cravings of bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc. I can't point out anything special or over the top amazing food but it's good comfort food.

Wonderful breakfast spot with a lovely view of the fountain. Tucked right near 95 for easy access it's hiding but worth the find.
Very friendly service and great food. The fried chicken benedict is some of the best chicken I've had too. I highly recommend it. The special was a cookie dough waffle and was a great dessert. Their Grumpy's coffee blend will perk you up too.
My partnerhad the seafood omelette and loved every bite too. The shrimp was perfectly cooked in it and an excellent crab cake on top.
I highly recommend checking them out.

For a restaurant named "Grumpy's" the staff and owner are farthest from that! Great customer service and the food is delicious! My cousin and I split the Belgium Waffle and the Green Fired Tomato Benedict and it was so good. Hash Browns were the perfect amount of crispy.
I will also add we went on a Saturday morning so there was a 45 min wait. Outside they had refreshments and the owner was nice enough to give everyone some samples of fresh OJ and vanilla ice coffee. This location is up and coming so I hope that there will be shops so we can shop while we wait! Highly recommend!

Mostly positive experiences here. Did not enjoy certain breakfast foods but really loved their chicken fingers, potato salad and coleslaw. Hit and miss with their home fries.. do not like them mushy at all and the fried green tomato batter not my favorite. Sausage gravy was good.. will definitely continue to visit and try different things. Staff and service was great.. never missed a beat.

My family had a great breakfast at the new St John’s location of Grumpy’s. Everything was very good. My fried flounder was crispy on the outside moist and tender on the inside and very tasty. Mashed potatoes and even the side of corn were also very good. My grown children very much enjoyed their meals as well. The place was clean and staff were awesome. They had cold water and hot coffee station outside while waiting to get in. We are definitely planning to go back.

Three of us did a dine in for breakfast. It was delicious and brought to the table piping hot! Our server was attentive and courteous. The portions were very large. Reasonable prices especially considering how much food they bring out. The coffee was good and was included in the breakfast price. Definitely we will be coming back!!! #LocalGuide #LetsGuide

Busy, but not surprising for a new restaurant. They are clean and server quick. Expect to wait for large parties however if you call you have a lesser wait time, no reservations. Most of the staff seems new but all act well trained. Food selection tailored from simple to healthy. Seating is limited in side but they outdoor tables too. What stood out for me was the sauce on the home fries, its different but tastes good. What most people are attracted to is the orange juice machine. Once you see it you will agree you can't get it any fresher.
