I've been coming here since 2015...I came in search of laser hair removal, the growth was so much I was shaving my face and neck every morning, just as a man would. The day I stepped into Parma Spa was the last day I did that. Not only is all the hair on my face gone, I am now receiving treatment on other parts of my body, and will move on to many other helpful treatments they offer. Most important, I've gained a friend in Thara. Lovely spirit who opens her door to anyone. She is pleasant, and always has great recommendations for my skin. My life is so much better now and I love my face

Horrible place, horrible treatment, the staff tries to sell products even though we spent a lot already . I had VI peel treatment. She was greedy to make us spend all our money . She also gave the products which are expired and made you think like a fool . I spent more than $1000 and didn't get any result . She over charge . Don't ever go to that place . They are robbers .

I had a great massage . The room was good overall, nothing spectacular or special, but clean and comfortable. I had a store credit from years ago and they still honored it without question. The staff were professional and on time.

I got a little turned around finding the place. The spa is facing the street. You can park in a office center of brown older looking buildings.

Extremely disappointed with results. I have practically lasered my entire body at a different facility and I am very happy with the results. I decided to come here to do a small area due to my trouble with ingrown hairs. I purchased 6 sessions and completed them all. Now my small area has never been this hairy in my life, I am guessing bc of the constant shaving needed to be done before each session. The 6 sessions did not improve my ingrown or hair situation, in fact it worsened it. Beware: I don't believe they use the correct pulse/intensity setting just so that they can get you to purchase

Nothing good to report about Parma. TERRIBLE customer service. They cancelled my appointment TWICE in one week, with only a couple hours notice both times and I am still waiting on a refund, because they charge you in advance. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! DO NOT USE PARMA SPA!

I bought 80 minutes massage through Groupon. I made an appointment. A woman called on Sunday to confirm. The same day of the appointment, they called back to postpone one hour. I arrived a little bit earlier. I asked the masseuse if she can use a different lotion other than oil. She said that they don't have any thing else, just oil. I asked to please don't put it on my hair. I had a previous session with a different therapist who left my hair all oiled, and she didn't offer me at that time to take a shower. She said no problem and offered the shower to use afterwards. The massage was a bad experience

Services were great.

Until the end. .

I'm feeling good, everyone was friendly. . I'm thinking 'hmm... this was nice maybe I'll do this regularly. .'

I thank the staff, smile, and put money in the envelope that goes inside the tip box.

As I am walking out the door with my friend, the massage therapist, who is standing a couple feet from the door and reception desk, literally stopped me and asked if I tipped.

I smiled and said "yep its in the box, thanks so much! "

She then LEAD me back to the tip box, opened and checked inside the tip box to see if

Horrible! If I could give 0 stars I would. I created this Google account just to make this posting and let people know about this place. Do not go here! Bought a Groupon. The doctor treating me said "how much did you pay?!" as if it wasn't enough through Groupon. Then she proceeded to try to sell me everything under the sun. When I kept saying no thank you, I just want the package I already bought, she forced me to buy another item just to have my Groupon package honored - mind you I had already spent $200 for the Groupon! That's bait and switch. Then they didn't even honor the services I bought

I couldn't be happier with my experience. I went to Parma Spa for laser hair removal. Their prices are very competitive. There was no high pressure selling. This is a business. They should take the opportunity to let you know what other services are available.

The technicians are awesome! They made me feel very comfortable and are very professional.

The procedure has some discomfort. The level of discomfort is different for everyone. It is over in a second. Take some pain reliever before you go if you're sensitive.

Beautiful, clean facility. State of the art equipment.

Can't

When I first started coming to this Spa, I was lucky enough to have some really nice aestheticians working on me. In total I purchased two packages of six treatments for a large area for my legs, and one package of six treatments for a medium area for my arm pits. The first six treatments went off like a dream. Minimal pain for reasonable expense with exactly as anticipated results. The spa itself is gorgeous and the location is easy to find with plentiful parking. So, what went wrong?

Dr. Thara started to treat me. I begged for other aestheticians/spa technicians when I would get scheduled

This laser hair removal was very painful.

Groupon's current advertisement is stating, "Lumenis Cool Touch laser ensures comfort". This is absolutely untrue and frankly encouraged me to write this negative review. When you need to apply ice and numbing cream before each zap, that is not a "cool touch". When they stopped having numbing cream it was too painful to even consider continuing on.

Was informed by technicians there: the darker your skin the more painful it will be.

If you buy this groupon, prepare for pain, being upsold on more regions at a supposedly "

I've been going to Afsheen for 3 years now to make sure my skin stays right. I love that I can ask her anything about my skin care regimen and she has wonderful suggestions and reccomendations. I would highly reccomend her.

If there is anything lower than one star I would have put it there.

My experience: Came in with an awesome groupon, one of the fake doctors"Afsheen" there convinced me to get a whole body deal, which I thought was a good deal before asking around in other places and realzing it was such a rip-off.

This fake doctor "Afsheen" kept talking and making me uncomfortable then gave me a used razor to shave some of the hair... TRUE STORY! used razor i was so disgusted I didn't even go back to finish the rest of my session for the money I paid. I guess it was a learning experience

I have a groupon for laser hair removal at Parma- I have had 3 sessions here so far.

The facility is clean, hygienic and beautifully decorated. They call you the day before your appt to confirm.

I've worked with two doctors and both have been exceptional. They have ice on hand to cool the area treated with laser. Privacy and discretion is something they do well.

They do use a vacuum laser for hair removal which some ppl are not fans of.

They have offered me the discount rate I used with groupon for any other area of the body I wish. I have had no negative interactions with this business

I purchased a Groupon last year for laser hair removal. I have fair/light skin and medium brown hair. My first 5 sessions were great - the technician who took care of me took her time and went over the small area (back of neck) a couple times. Then, for my 6th session, I was told she no longer worked there and the new technician was nowhere near as thorough. I was in and out of the room in (literally) less than 2 minutes.

Dr. Thara then told me I would need more sessions because "it definitely still looks manly". I (regrettably) bought 4 more sessions and went to my appointment

I have waited for 7-8 months to write this review, as I wanted to make sure I complete all the 6 sessions before I write a review.

I bought a Groupon for Laser Hair Removal back in March. Turns out that even though the coupon says 'one per person', you can buy actually buy two (one as a gift). So I bought two Groupon deals. On my first day, Dr Thara took me to her room for consultation. She said 6 sessions wont be enough, and that I might as well do full body all at once. When I told her I didn't want to spend more money, she offered me a third deal for the same Groupon price

The facility is actually clean and quiet...and staff are friendly.
I had purchased a hair laser removal Groupon deal for the Brazilian... After 5 painful sessions...Its still NOT completely "bare"....and I'm full Korean, meaning HAIRLESS, to the point where I don't even have to shave my legs! I go for my 6th and final session next week...and I seriously doubt ONE more session will give me the full effect....;(

I ended up deciding to call this place one more time to give them another shot. The 2nd time I called I got a curteous person on the phone who scheduled me for a Saturday appt. so I decided not to complaint to Groupon and ask for my refund.

My initial consultation was similar to the experience Deanne L had...in the sense that I had to listen to an aggressive sales pitch by the owner. Because I've been in sales myself and can recognize intentional sales pressure, I was able to hold my own and not let that bother me but I know that the owner's sales pitch would probably bother most people

A friend and I went to Parma for botox injections a couple of years ago. They were completely ineffective. We went back for a "touch-up" and again no result. When we both complained to Dr Singh directly, her reaction was simply that we must now be immune to them. We explained that we both got injections once a year or so and never had issues before. She refused to acknowledge that the vials they use are either unfresh (they must be used quickly upon opening) or excessively diluted. Dr Singh didn't make it right, and she didn't even apologize. I later learned that another
