Services
As medical residents, Dr. Robert Record and Dr. John Fischer dreamed of opening a clinic to help eliminate the healthcare gap in our community. Since opening, the healthcare ministry has provided medical services for nearly 100,000 patients, served more than 35,000 dental patients, and filled nearly 120,000 prescriptions.
Dr. Robert Rex Record is a native of Breezy Hill Farm located somewhere near Clinton, LA. With a heart for ministry and an overactive imagination, he attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. There he majored in Business Administration, ran track, and met the love of his life, Leland Caley. He also joined a congregation in a transitional neighborhood and developed a clearer vision for serving those facing socio-economic struggles.
In 2005, Christ Health received a Compassion Capital Collaborative sub-award through Christian Community Health Fellowship to help establish our initial clinic on the campus of The Foundry, a residential alcohol and drug recovery ministry in Bessemer, Alabama. At The Foundry, we refined our vision while serving both the residents of The Foundry and the good people who live in and around Bessemer.
At Christ Health Center, we believe healthy kids are happy kids. Our highly trained and certified clinicians will deliver quality care for your child, make your child comfortable during their visit, and also give you the information you need to make the best possible decisions about your child's health.

The first few visits I made to this location weren't bad! On multiple occasions I felt my doctor was truly doing their best to help me, while others I felt like they were trying to get me out as quickly as possible. I think the final straw was hearing nurses (on more than one occasion) bad mouthing patients, including myself, right behind closed doors. You're a nurse, not a high school student. Save yourself the time and frustration.

Dr. Hardeman is who my visit was with. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with great information surrounding the nature of my visit.

From my initial interaction, the staff was very helpful and professional. Jessica was very nice and even went that extra step to get me a cup of coffee during my office visit! A nice STRONG cup of coffee!

I love seeing scriptures posted throughout the facility. They also have calming sounds playing over the speakers. Very relaxing atmosphere for sure.

I was really pleased with this office visit.

My fiance goes there and I do as well through Medicaid and every time my fiance needs anything or trys to make an appointment or trys to get them to call her back they never do they never answer and they never call back and no one ever answers the phone. You would think over mental medicine and helping someone who has mental issues that they would take it very seriously but they don't

WE started in Woodlawn with Dr. Record. Then we were with Dr. Rogers. I can't find to words to say just how Wounderful they are. These Dr.s have passed there kindness and gentleness on to there staff. These people are so kind and caring. Dr. Rogers always says a prayer with me before I leave. What other dr. does that. None. They have changed my life. I will always be grateful to this team. Each and everyone of them. I thank God for putting them in my life.

My aunt is very sick and if she doesn't have her medications she could end up in hospital. They have been awful at keeping her medications refilled at right amounts and she's now been without one for almost 2wks now which can be almost deadly to her. But seeing as she has medicaid options are limited in close doctors for her to see. Very disappointed in this center. Once named changed everything went downhill.

I live near this location and thought with my new insurance I would use them for my primary care. I called on Monday and nobody answered the phone, I left a message about making an appointment, nobody ever called me back. On Friday, I called again, nobody answered the phone and it went to voice mail again. I said I had never been contacted about my appointment and that they are really ineffective and that they need to respond within 24 hours at the worst. I am moving on to find a new new doctor now. dont use these people, I dont think they even go to work

I’ve been there twice. The first time wasn’t that great, but no big deal. I was still able to get what I needed done. I walked out yesterday though 90 minutes after my appointment time without ever seeing a doctor, though. I’m a patient person, but also prompt and I expect others to at least try to be.
I show up a few minutes early for a 3:40 appointment. They take me strait back. Ok, great. I’m put in a room and told the doctor is with another patient so it may be a little while. Ok, fair. I’m warned. These things never start on time anyway. Thirty minutes is no big deal. Forty five

I loved my primary doctor, Dr. Kuklinski. Then he left and I see a different doctors every single time I go! I was referred there by Medicaid when it was St. Vincent's. It swapped over the DAY of my FIRST appointment! I've been stuck with them ever since. Like mentioned in another review, they try to take me off my medicine from specialist. They keep calling me to confirm that I went to my psychiatrist 6 months ago. I did and still going! No thanks to them! They tried to send me to Hillcrest which was awful. I had to find a good psychiatrist on my own. I'm ready to pull all my files and move ASAP

Fast and friendly staff. Doctor and office assistants were super sweet, and they even send text alerts to remind you of your appointments. Nice waiting room, they play a white noise machine to keep you relaxed. I highly recommend for new moms.
