Services
When a child has a dental trauma, first and foremost their overall safety is top priority. If the patient experiences dizziness, nausea, and/or loss of consciousness proceed to the nearest emergency room. Gently brush and floss around the sore tooth, if tolerable. For pain relief, you may alternate an over the counter dose of children's acetaminophen and children's ibuprofen every 4 hours as needed.
Our goal at Huxford and Lockhart Pediatric Dentistry is to help parents maintain good oral health of their children. We desire to educate parents and patients about dental hygiene. We also desire to shape the lives of our patients, helping them to learn coping skills in unpleasant situations, overcoming fear and anxiety while also sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Our goal is to serve you through the entire process. To that end we have developed some policies and documents that we feel will help guide you and us as we care for your child. Please call us at 662-323-9726 to get your child scheduled and to provide relevant information including a valid email address for you.
We are NOT a participating provider for any insurance plan. We do file your insurance as a courtesy. A $50.00 payment is expected on your initial visit if there is no established account. If no treatment is needed, any credit balance will be refunded to you after payment is received from your insurance company.
You may choose whether or not you accompany your child to his/her operative appointment (fillings, stainless steel crowns, extractions, etc.). Although we sense that some children do better without parents present, we are open to having you with your child. This allows us to maintain communication with your child.

They were very friendly, and my daughter really enjoyed meeting them and just chatting it up with them. I'm appreciative of the relaxed, friendly, and honest atmosphere of this place. My daughter always loves going to the dentist, and this visit just added to her enjoyment. I definitely recommend and look forward to getting my daughter's cavity taken care of with them!
