I'm a born and raised Michigander who fell in love with Chicago and found my niche as a mother and a photographer. My passion for photography started when I had my first baby. We’ve also booked two mini sessions- one lakeside in the summer and one fall session. I was blown away with how she was able to capture our family, and the number of photos she took in such a short time.
Highly recommend Tricia for her newborn & outdoor family sessions!

We were scrambling to find a photographer for our infant son. Tricia was always someone on my radar, but her location out in Geneva (we live in Chicago) always seemed prohibitive for us. As it turned out, other things fell through and I immediately messaged Tricia's studio for a session. And it was fantastic. My husband even agrees whole-heartedly - we will be heading out to Geneva for our photos from now on.

I absolutely love Patricia and her work! She’s taken newborn pictures of both my son and daughter; I received so many compliments on the pictures and we love looking back at how little they both were. She sends out a guideline to prep your baby for the photos which was very helpful too. We also did an outdoor family session for my son’s 1st birthday and the pictures were stunning. I look forward to more sessions with her, she’s amazing!

We did our newborn/family shoot with Patricia and couldn’t be happier with the results! Not only are the pictures gorgeous but she is by far the best photographer we have used for our kids. My toddler loved her, she was so helpful with the newborn, and you could tell she has kids of her own because she knew just what to do with them. Overall she is professional and encompasses everything you would want in someone working with and photographing your kids.
As a bonus - she also has tons of props and accessories available which is a real game changer so you don’t have to search Etsy for the perfect

I can't be more happy with Patricia Anderson Photography. I have used Tricia 8 times now. Two maternity sessions, my daughters newborn, 6 month and 1st year photos and now my sons first year of photos. She has wonderful props and really takes pride in the photos she takes. When you walk into her studio she treats you like family. If you have children, you know that taking photos is not always the most calm situation. However, Tricia is always able to capture the most perfect images even if your children aren't cooperating. I am always truly amazed when we get the images back! ...Plus she is super

Tricia managed to capture my newborn in a way I could only have imagined. We loved our experience with her studio, and really appreciated how much time she spent with us, customizing our session, and helping us select framed artwork for our home. We have had Tricia do a maternity session and photograph our little Maggie twice so far and will continue as she grows. I happened to fall upon Patricia Anderson Photography on Facebook. I was pregnant and looking for someone to do a maternity shoot and newborn pics for our baby girl due in July, 2013. Our first experience was the maternity shoot.
