The first time I saw the photographs of Henri Cartier-Bresson, I knew photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! His mantra is exactly how I approach wedding photography. Oh my goodness, only wonderful things to say about James! He did our wedding photography this past weekend in DC at the DC War Memorial and within TWO days he had our photos to us!
James was recommended to us by our incredibly officiant, Jeffrey Maszal, and he was so much fun to work with! I sent him a few ideas before the day of and he made sure to capture all of the shots I wanted. He was flexible and exuberant and we are just so happy with his work!

I flew James out to photograph my wedding and it was a great choice. He was fun, easygoing, professional, and put me at ease on my big day. Moreover, he was readily available and easy to work with during the planning process, which meant a lot to me since we live in different states. His price also fit our budget- you can't beat his price point for the quality he offers. We just got our sneak peeks and they are phenomenal! Thanks to James for capturing our memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime.

James was a great photographer to work with and gave us amazing photos of our day! He definitely has a talent for capturing the emotion in a moment. When I look at my wedding photos I feel like I'm reliving each moment - it's so wonderful! A year before our wedding, my husband and I had set up interviews with different photographers. It was a pleasure for both my husband and I to work with James. He was flexible and communicated with us before the wedding, answering any questions I had as the bride, and on the day of the wedding he got every photo that I had requested and so many more memorable moments. James was so wonderful! I was so beyond thrilled to have found a photographer that I clicked with so easily. When I found out that James was already booked on our original wedding date, I moved our wedding date! And I have no regrets. James was so flexible throughout the entire process, and the pictures turned out beautiful. What impressed us most was that while we really never noticed him, he didn't miss a single moment and the pictures were taken from the perfect angles. After the wedding, we received our pictures in on a USB stick in the cutest little box. I highly recommend James!
