Hawaiian flowers are a very important part of every Maui wedding ceremony. In ancient times, Hawaiian Brides put a Haku-lei, a wreath of flowers around their head while the Groom wore a green fern head lei. Both had haku-style leis around thei ankles and wrists. A cascading or hand held bouquet complements this occasion.

We have been back to Flensburg for a few days now and would like nothing more than to turn around and fly right back into the sun. I am glad that I found Ancient Hawaiian Weddings and even more so that they have access to do weddings at the White Orchid Beach House in Makena. That view was so breathtaking and the house to get ready in for the Bride and groom was quaint and beautiful! You get a combination of green lawn, beach, crashing waves, lava rock, and a great breeze all in one location. I was on the mainland and so the thought of trying to contact people in a different timezone was stressful, but Arabelle helped eased my worries on a wedding that I wasn't physically there to help plan. 2 weeks before a trip to Hawaii we decided to get married while there. I needed someone to help us quickly and thoroughly with little help from my husband or I. Arabelle provided the perfect service. Every vendor that she hired for the wedding day was excellent. From the hair and make up, flowers, photographer, music and officiant we could't have asked for more. She even entertained our 2 year old during photos so that we could simply enjoy the day. She helped make our day perfect. I highly recommend her.

I had my wedding recently June 10,2018. Arabelle from the beginning was non stop on top of everything!!! I couldn't have asked for an amazing planner than her. I asked more questions than anything and she always responded with ease and support. She always encouraged but didn't make me feel pressured. She had a assertive leadership persona that ever bride wants on the day of her wedding. I noticed on the day of my wedding she was the person making things fall into place. I wanted to renew our vows for our 10 year anniversary. Just trying to pick someone to coordinate this for me was stressful enough, but the Ancient Hawaiian Weddings web site was so beautiful and professional, I knew this was the one for me. Arabelle lived up to her web site. She is so professional, quick to respond and a beautiful soul. I can truly say the ceremony was exactly how I imagined, only better. Although our wedding at Palauea Beach in Makena on Maui has already happened more than six months ago, I continue to have goose bumps just thinking about this perfect day! We felt so much at ease with you and everything was just superb! The subsequent photo shooting was so much fun, although it was quite hot! Arabelle is very caring, detailed and professional wedding coordinator. She took care of everything for us for our Maui wedding five year ago as well for our son's Hawaiian blessing. Arabelle is amazing. She planned our wedding within three weeks, from flowers, location, reverend, photographer, musicians and dancers, as well as an appointment to get our marriage license. If you are looking for a REAL authentic Hawaiian wedding experience, go to Arabelle. She doesnt' miss any detail, and is very heartfelt and caring. Before we booked our honeymoon we thought it would be quite complicated to make our wedding plans from far distance. Arabelle showed us the opposite. She guided us professionally through all steps and gave us the support we needed. We just had to choose the photographer, pastor, location, etc. - she made everything happen. Finally our wedding was an unforgettable time. Also the restaurant afterwords she recommended was very delicious.

My husband and I booked our October 2015 wedding with Ancient Hawaiian Weddings and it was fantastic! Arabelle was wonderful to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute sweetheart. She guided us through the entire process - from selecting the officiant, photographer, and performers for our ceremony, to setting up the license appointment and helping us select the location. She even met me at the hotel and pinned flowers in my hair before the ceremony and then drove me to the wedding location so my husband wouldn't see me before the big event.

Dear Arabelle,
We got back to Switzerland again and still cannot believe that we are actually married! We are super happy and they day of our ceremony was beyond words and dream like! For us, everything was perfect and when we show our photos, we feel nothing but envy from them:-) You were so busy taking photos with our cell phone during the ceremony and after so that we were able to send some photos back home right away:-) We met our photographer Hanne on the way to the airport and are still sorting through all of the amazing photos she took. Now we are awaiting Craig's video.

I highly recommend Ancient Hawaiian Weddings if you are looking to get married in Maui. Arabelle was my wedding coordinator and she was amazing. She made things so easy and was able to work out any request I had and responds quickly to emails. We got married at the Seawatch Restaurant in Wailea on 10/16/08 and it was beautiful.
