We respect and honor all faiths, traditions and customs. Locally owned and operated since 1914, we are Laredo's oldest family funeral home.

Services
The idea of a complete funeral home in Laredo at the turn of the 19th century was non-existent. Only in larger cities was this service available. In the late 1800s the local livery stable was a common place to rent a horse and wagon to transport the deceased to the cemetery, thus from there evolved the Funeral Chapel as we know it today.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
At Joe Jackson Funeral Chapel, we want to make arrangements simple for you. We offer a large variety of containers and traditional caskets designed to meet your personal needs but we'll be happy to go over them with you and answer any questions you may have. We offer a vast selection of burial caskets made from various woods, metal and steel.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.

My brother and I recently had my Father's services and we couldn't be happier with the customer service we experienced. From making the arrangements to the military honors my Dad so much deserved, EVERYTHING was perfect!!! We are beyond satisfied and grateful with the entire experience. I'm highly recommending this facility to close friends and family. Making arrangements ahead of time really pay off!!! THANK YOU Mr. Jackson, Naria, Erika, Manny and the rest of the staff...GOD Bless You!!!💕

Everyone at Joe Jackson who we interacted with was extremely helpful. This was the first time we have had to do this and their patience, guidance and expertise are very much appreciated. I had follow uo questions and they were always responsive. Such a difficult time and they helped guide us through it. Thank you.

Thank you for all your attention to detail during our difficult time. You all took care of everything not once allowing us to worry with anything. You all prepared a beautiful ceremony for my father in law. Samuel made sure everything ran smoothly, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our final goodbyes, Ricky went beyond and above meeting us outside the funeral chapel to make sure all the arrangements were completed, Manny greeted us always with a smile and answered all our questions and made sure all of our requests were done, the girls in the front were all very helpful

There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Joe Jackson Funeral Chapels, for all the care and efforts to help us with every detail to arrange a final goodbye to my father. From the moment that we arrived to the moment the services concluded, Manuel took care of and treated us like we were family and not another client. Joseph and Samuel were very instrumental in the memorial, and helped us to have a memorable viewing of my father. We are forever grateful for their tireless work and efforts. To everyone at Joe Jackson, Manuel, Joseph, Samuel, Cristina, Elise, just to name a few, all of
