Holt Engineering

The Memphis hub is the core of the FedEx network of facilities, and is where the preponderance of work for FedEx originates.

We have been involved in many projects in the hub, including the Secondary 12 Contingency Project, the International Input Canopy Project, the Fourth Floor Customs Cage Project, the International Chute Extension Project, the South Secondary Transfer Vehicle Retirement and AMJ Compatibility Project and the 180k Expansion Project.

Our focus is to deliver a preferred product on time, every time; to hold with intent the specifications and associated codes; and to ensure a safe and enjoyable working environment in every system we touch. Our task is to understand the intent of use and to provide a functional project ready for construction by taking the concepts of the client to the reality of the field through detailed design efforts.

Holt Engineering begins each project by acknowledging & analyzing the client's system's goals and expectations; by reviewing the constraints of operations, maintenance, safety and government; and by challenging preconceived limitations. This is the foundation for creative implementation. We then apply innovative thinking to turn over the project, apply the principles of simplicity of design, and determine best practices.

Holt Engineering is directed by Mr. Bruce E. Holt, P.E. and a team of engineers and designers, whose 100+ years of combined experience are focused on your conveyance goals. Additionally, Mr. Holt has established a council of specialists that provides advice in matters related to policy and procedure.
