Dr. John O'Keefe graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in 1980. Since then he has expanded his interests in many specialties of dental science. He provides comprehensive care, including; Invisalign orthodontics, surgical implant placement and restoration, many facets of oral surgery, periodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. O'Keefe utilizes state of the art digital technology, recently acquiring a 3D cone beam, which is equivalent to a medical cat scan of the jaws. The mission of Dr. O'Keefe and the team at Sawtooth Dental Care is to provide high quality dental care in a fun and comforting atmosphere. They are dedicated to learning, using new techniques and listening to what their patients have to say about what they want and need.

John O'Keefe first ventured to the Methow Valley as a college student in the 1970's to fish, camp and hike, having no idea that he would return permanently years later. After graduating from dental school in 1980, John served as the Quinault tribal dentist at the Queets River clinic. It was a great opportunity to serve a small community and fly fish for steelhead after work!
Feliciea Austin, Lead Dental Assistant: Feliciea began working with Dr. O'Keefe in 2007 after completing her senior project in dental assisting at Liberty Bell High School. She is especially gifted at soothing young patients and educating them to practice excellent home care. A Methow Valley native, Feliciea enjoys outdoor adventure, hiking and fishing.

I lost a gold crown on a molar which left a very sharp piece of tooth that caused a lot of pain to my tongue. Dr. O'Keefe worked me in, filed off the sharp point, and did a crown prep on extremely short notice. I was very impressed by the professionalism of Dr. O'Keefe and his entire staff. I recommend him highly.

I had an emergency infected tooth, but no dentist.
I called Sawtooth Dental & Sarah had me come in that same day to see Dr. O'Keefe. The entire staff was kind & professional, and Dr. O'Keefe was very gentle knowing the pain I was in...We were not able to save the tooth, but he offered options for me to consider after I heal. I'm happy to finally have a good dentist again! Thank you!
