Definitely not what I asked for. I brought my daughter in for a cut. Based on this experience, kids cuts do not include wetting the hair properly. She brushed out my girls curls and gave it a light spray with leave in conditioner. Then cut her hair while it was frizzy.
We would have used our normal salon but they went out of business due to the pandemic.
****I changed my 2 star review to 1 star. Now that I have washed and dried my daughter's hair, I can see that the cut is not good at all. It is choppy and uneven.

I was introduced to Jenny at Hair on Mason by a good friend when I moved to Houston. I have been going here for the last year. Jenny is always polite, professional, and does a fabulous job. She is also efficient and works to get the job done right, and yet quickly. She always has customers coming in to see her, and I highly recommend her if you are looking for a place to get your hair cut and colored.

The first time I went, I got a good haircut. I had it cut short because I wanted it short. But every time since then has been worse. It is apparent to me that they do not know how to cut long hair for guys. If I want a little bit off, they cut about twice as much, as though they're letting their own creative genius get in the way of what is requested. This most recent time was the worst. I asked for an inch or an inch and a half off. What I got was about 2-3 inches cut off. I was told it would help me look good for my interview. I'm sorry, but I asked for what I wanted and you ran off with it on

Love, Love, Love this salon! My entire family, including my mother are all cosmetologists, but all live too far away. So as you can imagine, I am super picky when it comes to my hair. I finally found my perfect hair place. Jenny is the best colorist I have ever been too, and Sandy gives the most intricate haircut, since...well, since my Mom! Go, let them have their way with you. You wont regret it.
