Dana is hard at work on a countertop, but he's happy to answer any questions you might have about the countertop and cabinet installation process. Inspect the seams. Solid surface materials are designed to be seamed together with virtually invisible seams. With the exception of certain textures, colors, and high polish finishes, seams should be nearly invisible to the naked eye.
Solid surface material is non-porous which prevents the growth and spread of germs, mold, mildew, and bacteria. Solid surface products are safe for food preparation as they hold National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certification. Cuts, nicks, stains, or scratches in solid surface material can be repaired to the original finished look.
Following a few simple steps for care and maintenance will ensure your solid surface countertops will serve you for many years. Do not place hot pots or pans on your countertops, use hot pads or trivets in between your cookware and solid surface countertops to avoid yellowing and heat damage. Always use a separate cutting board, never use your solid surface countertop as a cutting board.
A laminate surface countertop can provide the look of stone, granite, or marble and are available in thousands of color choices and a variety of edge profiles. Laminate countertop surfaces are very easy to clean which creates a healthier indoor environment and a sanitary food preparation area. Laminate countertops are Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified for low emissions, making them ideal for sensitive locations.

I was in a tough situation and had to fire the people I hired to replace our cabinets and countertops. Castle Rock showed up to the rescue quite literally. They came and assessed the job, then came back the next day and finished it, very professional. Now after 3 weeks of been out of a kitchen and 2 bathrooms my family and I can get back to our lives. Thank so much!
