Gary met his wife, our mother, by selling her a car, a VW bug as it turned out. He then proceeded to buy and sell land and camps as an investment vehicle, the beginnings of what is now Blue Spruce Realty today. Gary remains active in the business, keeping us on the straight and narrow.

We worked with Amber at Blue Spruce for almost nine months to find our home. Amber must have shown us 50 houses at our request and she never lost hope or energy. She even helped us with a for sale by owner house that we almost bought. The family-business environment at Blue Spruce is fantastic too. We felt like everyone was pulling for us throughout an exhausting house hunt. Amber is professional, punctual, and super kind and easy to work with. We would recommend Blue Spruce to anyone, absolutely.

Amber Foote is a powerhouse. She was our family’s advocate through an almost year-long search for our home. She responded timely (if not immediately!) to our endless questions, took us to each and every property we wanted to see and was the voice of reason whenever we approached desperation. Amber was honest, kind and knowledgeable on each and every point through our whole process. I can’t recommend her enough!

I rarely write reviews, and when I do, it is usually because I am angry. Therefore, that I am writing a positive review now is a resounding endorsement for Blue Spruce Realty. Everyone that worked there was great in helping me find a home. Mary Ann was incredibly generous and enthusiastic, and the house she found for me was exactly what I wanted. She made great recommendations throughout the process; and moreover, I never felt pressured into anything I didn't want to do. When a delay in closing caused me to be without an apartment for two days, Don of Blue Spruce put me up in one of his apartments

This realty family made selling our house as positive and unharried as possible. Don and Amber, brother and sister, clearly and promptly communicated with us from start to finish. They know their details and are especially tuned into the Vermont world. I especially loved that one of them always attended EVERY showing so there were no lock boxes and they could answer questions on the spot. Couldn't have been happier!!
