Smiles have been our business at Blake Dentistry since 2005. As a family dental practice, we welcome patients of all ages. We combine the latest dental technology with a friendly, comfortable atmosphere to provide comprehensive dental care for the whole family. We strive to find treatment options that work best medically, financially, and aesthetically for each and every individual patient.
We encourage our patients to partner with us and take an active role in their dental care. Dental emergencies can happen at the most inopportune times- on weekends, holidays, or after regular office hours. Don't worry. At Blake Dentistry, we have a system in place for such a situation. If you're a current patient of record with an after-hours dental emergency, call 814-274-7262.

Services
Not only did Dr. Blake know at the age of 12 that he wanted to be a dentist, but he knew where he wanted to practice: right here in Potter County, Pennsylvania, where he was born and raised. Upon graduating from Northern Potter High school, Dr. Blake headed to Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania for his undergraduate education.
Achieving a healthy mouth may require a number of procedures. Blake Dentistry is a comprehensive dental care facility in which we provide most of the general procedures required to address our patients' needs. We pride ourselves in providing modern dental care in a caring environment. Check out the videos below for information on many of the procedures that are available.
Compared to conventional x-rays that used the little square films, digital x-rays require three to four times less patient radiation exposure to produce, making them safer. Instead of having to wait for those little films to develop in a bath of hazardous chemicals, digital x-rays are available for immediate viewing.
Getting a crown, inlay, or onlay was a big, complicated, multi-appointment, messy production in the past. The patient would need to allow for a preparation appointment so the tooth to be restored could be adjusted or "prepped" to accept the restoration. Then the gooey, gluey impression material would come out, so that models of their teeth could be made.
If you have been given an anesthetic, this should wear off in a few hours. Please be careful not to bite your cheek or tongue. Also, do not eat or drink anything extremely hot or cold until the numbness has completely worn off. The bite should feel normal when the anesthetic wears off. If it doesn't, it NEEDS to be adjusted.

My 4 year old daughter had an infected tooth that another office would not assist us with and kept telling us she needed to go to a specialist. No specialist around could get her in for over 6 months. Dr. Blake rearranged his schedule to get her in the same day so she could finally be pain free. Dr. Blake and all of his staff were amazing, I am now looking into switching all of my family to him.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. Around the age of 10 I went to Dr. Blake and he neglected to tell me I had an impacted canine. I since then went to 3 other dentists, who ALL told me about it. Now, at the age of 17, I have to get braces to pull that tooth down. I could’ve had this done at the recommended age, when it was the easiest to do this procedure. I am very displeased with this office and absolutely do not recommend it. I am also very upset by the neglect of Dr. Blake. If you didn’t know you had something wrong with your teeth, wouldn’t you want to know? This just makes me wonder how many
