Ida was born and raised in Atlanta and fell in love with weddings while working on styled photo shoots at Occasions Magazine, now The Celebration Society. What Ida loves most about event planning is playing a key role in transitioning someone else's dream into reality and seeing the constant smiles on everyone's faces throughout the event.
My passion is to put weddings and events together for others so I can make them unique and special. I have been a luxury wedding & event planner in Atlanta for years. I'm inspired by the uniqueness of people and have a talent for capturing their vision. After speaking with several decorators and planners we decided to go with House of Bash for our wedding planning and decor. This was one of the best decisions we made!!!! The process was seamless and it felt like a 1 stop shop for whatever we wanted and needed. LT is very professional and honest about the process , she even made some last minute request happen for us that we needed. Her pricing is accurate for each of her services and it did not feel like you were being taking advantage of like some other planners , at times we felt like we were just planning our wedding with a close friend. House of bash is a very well known business and after seeing their work, I was very excited about working with them. I took the step in emailing, after 3 long weeks of waiting I finally got an email back and scheduled my consultation. I understand it is a busy season and I don't hold that against them. When I spoke to LT it was nothing but bliss, I explained my vision sent pictures of a few things that I wanted and she said she would send over the proposal, after 2 weeks I emailed in regards to the proposal and a day later I received it. House of BASH gave us a great experience coordinating our wedding. It was so nice to hand off all of our original planning work to the coordinators for them to finalize all the details while we were focused on actually getting married! They knew all of the tips and tricks to getting everything to run smoothly and were also able to make quick important decisions on their feet, such as changing our "first look" photo location at the last minute to something much better and keeping everyone on board with the timelines. LT and her team were amazing! We booked her full services for our wedding 2 years ago when we determined that we wanted a long engagement. LT helped us plan the entire wedding over the span of 2 years in a way that was not overwhelming! She was responsive, attentative, and so very looped into important little details. Our wedding was amazing. The decoration and flowers were better than my pinterest board, and her coordination staff kept us on track the entire night! We loved working with LT and her team so much! I did not have a great experience with HOB, specifically on the Decor and design side (the event planning side was a good). It was disappointing because I heard a first hand account that was favorable. For my 10/16 wedding I didn't receive an initial floral proposal until September 1 (after a month if follow ups) and it just wasn't adequate. Because it came to me late - which I based off the payment schedule that started 120 days out - I was not given much opportunity for changes, which I don't think was fair. Communication was a huge challenge, resulting in my reaching out to LT multiple times

I just got married earlier this month and I planned my entire wedding by myself with ease for the most part, but as it got closer to the wedding day (like 3 months before the big day) I kept hearing from my friends who are married that I needed a day of coordinator because it becomes ALOT in their last couple months and they were not lying! Had I not hired House and Bash for day of coordination services I seriously do not think I could have even had a wedding. HOB then used our thoughts and details to create an organized timeline for the ceremony/reception. They were very receptive to any feedback and/or questions I had. I found House of Bash because I needed to rent an arch for my daughter’s wedding. THEN I discovered all of their services, including “day of” coordination services! Omg LT and her team are INCREDIBLE! I literally could not imagine having a wedding without this rockstar team. They are organized, efficient, super responsive and just there to make your day stress free and smooth. Unfortunately LT was not present for most of my wedding. We saw her there for maybe a total of ten minutes. Without asking my permission, she sent two young associates who were unfamiliar with the event in her place. There were not very many tasks for them to handle as day of coordinator for our small, simple wedding, but nothing was done to even a basic level of satisfaction. So my experience with House of Bash. Had a great interview call and decided LT was the most organized and on top of day-of coordination though a little more than I wanted to spend (which included basic organization vendor coordination About 4-6 weeks before the wedding date, 1 walkthrough date, 1 hour of rehearsal, and with my plan 8 hours of day-of coordination with 2 planners). If I had the opportunity to select a day-of wedding coordinator again, I would NOT go with this group again. We had to postpone our wedding a month before our date due to the Coronavirus, and this group, who was meant to be providing me with day-of coordination services, refused to refund me any more than 15% of the total value paid, even though they had not put in anywhere near 85% of the work yet. When I tried to reschedule, their lack of availability made it impossible to also coordinate with my many other venues and vendors, in part because other brides postponing due to the virus were rescheduling

Hiring LT and her team was the BEST decision! We did the full service planning option and it made the entire process pretty much stress-free. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and she did an excellent job of coordinating the logistics with all vendors both before the wedding and on the day of. She was able to provide vendor lists to help me with choosing, but still accommodated my wishes to use some vendors outside of the ones she suggested. If I could give LT and her team 10 stars, I would! LT and I meet soon after our engagement and began work using her comprehensive planning package. We selected the Biltmore Ballroom venue for our ceremony and reception; however, Daniel and I live in Augusta where I practice full-time and he is a full-time student.
