High quality conversions of 16mm & 35mm microfilm rolls from spools or 3M cartridges. We also scan source document jackets, fiche and COM fiche as well as standard 35mm aperture cards and 16mm aperture cards with multiple images. We have experienced technicians with years of experience running a microfilm lab and digitizing film.
Our experienced microfilm lab operators use deep tank processor to develop your microfilm rolls and will work with you to run initial step-tests at no charge so as to help confirm your camera settings. As part of running our lab, Methleye Blue testing is done by FUJI on an on-going basis and all equipment maintenance is done on a scheduled basis.
Our experienced personnel use high speed production equipment to run paper scanning projects, so as to reduce costs while generating high quality images. In addition, custom services are available for materials that are frail, damaged or valuable and require special handling.

We also have one of the largest flatbed scanners in the world for scanning large or frail documents, allowing us to run projects requiring the scanning of mixed standard size and oversized format documents needing prep, sorting and indexing.Experienced personnel verify the images for quality, accuracy and to ensure they meet project specifications.
We use overhead cameras to scan oversized or standard size, and delicate, frail bound items such as thick historical books, newspapers, lab books and other media in color, grayscale or B&W. The overhead equipment does not come into contact with the bound or delicate materials, ensuring that the materials are not damaged and can be scanned bound as received.
Yes, our focus is on scanning oversize, valuable, unique & delicate items that require specialized equipment. Aperture cards, fiche, microfilm rolls, Xrays, slides and oversize negatives or transparencies. We will provide the images for review and then ship back the materials upon your approval. Report
Penny Imaging did a marvelous job scanning a large painting of mine and the scanned image was perfect. We did it all through the mail (UPS), so I didn't have to trudge out to LI. I was also pleasantly surprised how reasonable the price was.
