At the heart of the Pocono Mountains, Monroe County is the fastest growing county in Pennsylvania in terms of overall population growth. Such explosive growth has brought with it an overall increase in crime and other public safety issues.

As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the County, District Attorney E. David Christine, Jr. is responsible for seeking justice on a daily basis, protecting the rights of our citizens through the prosecution of those among us who commit crimes, and providing support and assistance to victims of crime.
Prior to 1850, the investigation and prosecution of crime in Pennsylvania was the province of the state Attorney General and his deputies. In May of 1850. the Pennsylvania legislature, seeing the need for a prosecutor elected by the people of each county, passed a law providing for the election of county District Attorneys.
As a witness in a criminal proceeding you have been subpoenaed to appear in court to testify. Your subpoena is simply a court order directing your appearance at the time and place stated. Once you have been subpoenaed you are required to appear as ordered until excused. Failure to appear may be regarded by the Court as contempt.

This DA office is totally ok with the murder of a teen with his hands up and doctored the body cam footage at original release to omit that part. You could do better by resigning.

The magistrate I can't really say much about them, but the women in the front office and that answer the phones, they need to be humbled, they're attitudes are horrendous and not becoming of someone who works with people and for someone that works for the State of Pennsylvania. Your not special, your not exempt from treating people however you wish. I pray none of them act like that if they are married because I cant see wanting to be tied to such a negative soul. Coronoa or not, your attitude flat out sucks, work on it.

Amazing. After a questionable legal incident that almost devastated my family, I was issued a traffic citation. To my heartfelt surprise, I appeared before the very Judge who heard my arraignment some months before. As the head of a family who loves & honors God, our country and the laws of our land, it was my humble pleasure to appear before the Judge with that traffic citation and thank him for being a man of honor.

Very cold in reception area . Seems they just generate revenue by resolving complaints with levy's. Everyone agrees to levy and all charges dropped. A repeat offenders paradise .
