My fathers girlfriend has been coming here for a very long time, so she recommended i get my hair styled here. As soon as I came in i received a warm, welcoming, greeting. She (the owner) spoke to me throughout the whole process of getting my hair done . Unlike some salons, where they stay quiet. She asked me by detail what i would like, & did just what i asked! Great customer service, the salon has a very homey atmosphere. Will definitely come again.

Doesn’t know how to take care of African American hair, manager is rude and unprofessional.

I recommend Melania’s Hair salon 100%. I don’t get my hair done often ,but when I do I come to her salon. I’m always done in an hour and a half or less(blow dried).Plus with the right care my hair can last over two weeks as if I just got it done.

I have been coming here for myself and my daughter for a year.. I love them because we can walk in and its never crowded . They are friendly and do a great job.

Ok I just left the hair salon but I am very UNHAPPY. The prices are RIDICULOUSLY high and the owner keep changing the price for the same service.
I was initially billed $90 over the phone and ending up paying $170. The price is not too much a big deal but it’s for the principle🤦🏽‍♀️
I don’t think I will go there anymore.

Always receive such great service! I have been going to Melania for over 15 years! When she decided to open her own business I was thrilled b/c I knew that she was going to be able to extend her services. And she has! One of the things that she recommended that I started to do for my hair was get Keratin treatments. I’ve doing for 3 years! My hair is super healthy, I get compliments all the time 😊

This was my second and last visit.. went there two weeks ago and got a simple wash and set.. she charged me $50 which was fine because it came out looking good.. Today went there for a raise and blow out .. I… brought my own shampoo.. and my own color. The lady was trying to figure out the charge and I was confused because I thought she was looking for a price sheet or something.. she called the owner and he comes out. Today was my first time walking into Melania salon. First impression it’s Saturday should be busy it wasn’t. No greet or that warm welcoming at the door. Waited about 20-30mins just to get a simple hair cut. Now She did do good with the hair cut I want. They do like to gossip about the customers. They will tell one price and then charge your another price pay cash not credit card.Overall I was satisfied with my hair style just work on greeting customers at the door.

I am sad I no longer live in Denton I was going to this salon for years and the staff was always inviting and great hair professionals.

I have only been to Melania Hair Design once and will go back. Five stars ! I have really thick hard to manage natural hair that shrinks and tangles. The young lady that did my hair was exceptional in the way she combed out my hair without tugging & pulling. There was a language barrier but I was surprised that after the shampoo and steam treatment, she was able to comb through my hair with ease. . I reviewed one comment that was really negative and disturbing & personally attacking the owner's daughter. Some things just should not be said in a public forum, better yet not at all to publicly shame

I usually frequent this salon and typically get Raquel that does a GREAT JOB. Sunday I went into the salon and hid a “restoration treatment” for $130. The process started with a simple wash and then she had me sit in the chair. She then wrapped the flat iron on aluminum foil and began to place this product in my hair. She then too then began to flat iron my hair with the product on my hair. My hair was sizzling when I asked her was this ok she assured me that it was. Melania said I needed the treatment due to my hair being bleached. I agreed to the treatment but when it was completed I expected

Great people I believe I saw Winston. second guy on the left. I was kind of hesitant to go in at first because I have straight hair but. He did a great job! Im. Loving the fade he gave me and I am definitely coming back. Next time I am going to bring cash. I felt bad because the credit card machine doesn't process tip. ♡

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!. The owner gave a price over the phone for wash, haircut and blow dry and when she was done she charged $25 more than the price given to me on the phone. Her excuse was," I don't remember saying that". Customer service was horrible and rude. The only person who deserved a tip was the lady who washed my hair. Not only did the Owner Melania never apologize for giving false price information, she stared to cut my hair and mid way handed me off to another lady to finish cutting my hair while she went to a sit across to watch TV. Who does that? VERY unprofessional.
