Pre-arranging eases the burden of final decisions and finances from loved ones during their time of grief. Choosing a funeral home should be based on referrals and personal visits and may take some time. Funeral homes are required by law and should provide to you detailed price lists for services offered.
When a death occurs and cremation has been chosen, Ruebel Funeral Home is called by a family member, caregiver, minister, or anyone the family chooses. Once the call is received, the deceased will be removed from the place of death by Ruebel Funeral Home personnel and taken back to our funeral home in Little Rock.

After all business is concluded with a family and the funeral, memorial, or cremation services are completed, we mail out a small information packet. Within this packet is a survey that is provided by Selected Independent Funeral Homes. Selected Independent Funeral Homes is an international association of independently owned and operated funeral homes that was founded in 1917.

My son died tragically in September. After contacting another funeral home I decided to call Ruebel. Justin Wittenberg and the entire Ruebel staff I dealt with were wonderful. It was a very tough time and they could not have made the process more comfortable. They were sincerely sympathetic and caring. Justin took care of all the details and made sure all was worry free. Before I went to Ruebel, I went to another funeral home to research buying a pre-need plan. I left in tears. I felt like I was buying a car- she tried to upsell everything, even brought in a "closer". It was a horrible experience. At Ruebel, Josh was so kind and listened so well. I bought a plan for half of what the first place quoted, but more importantly was the way I was treated! I highly recommend Ruebel.
