From our first meeting, we connected perfectly. During the planning of the reception and music Joel was so helpful with ideas and suggestions. If we had a question he would get back to us almost immediately. Right before the ceremony when everyone was scurrying to set everything up, get dressed and staged we were notified that there wasn't electricity at the garden. Joel immediately solved the problem and everything worked out perfectly. We hired Joel and his wife for our daughter's wedding, held at the Resort at Squaw Creek. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner, and we were completely at ease. Joel did a fantastic job from the ceremony to the reception. They provided lots of great props for the photo booth and Joel was even so kind as to let my young nephew sit at the DJ booth and "help out."
If we had a need for another DJ event, we would not think twice in hiring Joel.

Joel was amazing! Honestly, he was the one vendor I felt most comfortable with leading up to my wedding and he came thru tremendously! After meeting with Joel and his fiancé, who runs the photo booth portion of this dynamic duo, I was completely at ease knowing the music and photo booth would be phenomenal. And they did not disappoint. The music choices and feel of the night was exactly as I had imagined. Joel is seriously the best ever!!!! He did my BFF's wedding at the Atlantis and was better than we could have asked for! He kept the wedding going, had the funniest games for the newlywed couple to play (the shoe game was the best ; LOL) and had such an awesome attitude. He got along with the wedding perfectly! I would not only use him for another event again, but I highly recommend him!

I have nothing but good things to say about Joel and Reno Mobile DJs. We did not give him a specific playlist but let him know our style and he exceeded our expectations. Not only was the music awesome but he was fantastic at hosting the wedding as well. Even months after the wedding people have told me how wonderful they thought the DJ was. He returned my emails in a very timely manner and contacted me twice before the wedding to help with timeline issues, etc. Last but not least, his website was super easy to use and a great way to stay organized. I would choose him again in a second.

So my daughter had her first important step in her young life a dance. She was so excited. It was going to have a dj. We went and bought her a dress. As a mom so nervous but our school staff took away all of my fears. I picked her up and asked how was the dj. She said he didn't show but the moms and staff got music for them. Such an awful lesson to learn so young. This might of been just a dance than goodness not a wedding or an anniversary. If this is your only option use your Ipod. Run as fast as you can if he is going to mess up over 100 kids first dance. I'd hate to see

I consider the DJ to be one of the most important parts of the wedding. Therefore, it was my most stressful choice. I researched a ton of DJs and met with just as many. We got married in November 2012 in South Lake Tahoe. Joel met with us about 6 months before the wedding and the next contact we had with him was about a week prior to our wedding, which was great b/c we are very busy. Joel knows how to get the crowd to the dance floor and was extremely accommodating. He was always in touch with us during the wedding to make sure we got what we wanted. I had many compliments from guests at the wedding with rave reviews. I'm so glad I looked to Yelp to help me plan my wedding. He was fabulous! Thanks Joel!!!

Joel is amazing to work with! We called him on short notice to DJ our wedding at the Ritz in Truckee. He didn't miss a beat. We weren't sure we had a dancing crowd on our hands, but Joel had them up and moving in no time. Everything was handled so beautifully. We can't say enough nice things about him - professionalism, caring, intuition/ ability to feel out a crowd, skillfulness, fun, and flexibility. So glad we found him! FAR EXCEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!! Joel kept my dance floor packed all night. My husband and I arrived at our reception at 5 and Joel executed our timeline to perfection. My request was all the traditional reception events, such as dinners, special dances, money dance, toasts, cake cutting, slideshow and bouquet and garter tosses, be done by 8 so we could dance the night away. AND THATS WHAT WE DID!!! I even had very specific requests and he delivered on his promises. DO NOT hire this company! The following is the list of things that they ruined during our wedding reception! -They play Lips of an Angel by Hinder (a song about a man cheating on his girl) which is highly inappropriate during a wedding reception -They did not play the money dance song which i specifically requested and I had many guys that were willing to pay a few hundred dollars each and they did not follow through - If you have ever heard of the Cupid Shuffle, It is a 7 minute song that repeats itself the entire song and professional DJ's know not to play the song more than 3 minutes.
