Dr. Folbe received her B.S. in Psychology from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1988. She concentrated her studies on biological psychology. Dr. Folbe received her D.D.S. degree in 1993 from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor continuing her True Blue love. She graduated with honors and received the Comprehensive Care award from her senior clinic.

A Preventive Resin Restoration (PRR) is a thin, resin coating applied to the chewing surface of molars, premolars and any deep grooves (called pits and fissures) of teeth. More than 75% of dental decay begins in these deep grooves. Teeth with these conditions are hard to clean and are very susceptible to decay.
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front and top surfaces of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility. With veneers as an alternative, there is no reason to put up with gaps between your teeth, teeth that are stained, badly shaped or crooked.

The entire staff is just wonderful. They are all very caring, thoughtful, and patient. I was living in Rochester at the time when I first started here but have since moved to Clarkston. I continue to make the drive down to this office as I know I can trust their recommendations and care for all of my dental needs. As a family owned business owner myself- it brings me great pride to see other privately owned practices succeed in customer service!... I would highly recommend this office!

I really like Dr. Banas. I was pretty nervous finding a new dentist after moving to the area, but I made a really good choice. Dr. Banas and the office team do all they can to calm my nervousness and do their professional work with kindness, efficiency and as painlessly as possibly. I highly recommend this practice.

After being a client for 17 years, I am going to have to find a new dentist. I called to reschedule my appointment and was told it's a $50 fee. That's outrageous. $50! Something has come up at work and there's nothing I can do about it. I recommend a better policy if client retention and client relations are at all important to you.

I am terrified of the dentist. I’ve had dental insurance the last 6 years and have only used it for 1. Knowing I needed a lot of work done, plus these Covid restrictions, I searched and found this office and made an appointment. I’m self conscious of my teeth & at how long I’ve gone without seeing a dentist. As soon as I sat in the chair I was immediately made to feel at ease. Every person was understanding and extremely kind, especially Dr. Folbe. We are a family of 6 and have been going to Dr Folbe and Associates for more than 5 years. Each of my kids begin visits around age 3 and the staff is so good with them. My kids actually like going to the dentist! The office is clean and neat and the staff is friendly and professional. They truly value their patients. I am especially thankful for them, just yesterday, at my appointment, a potentially serious issue was caught on my x-rays. I was quickly referred to a specialist and will be making an appointment as soon as possible.
