Serious story, it's hard to talk about yourself. My brain thinks 10 different ways all at the same time, which I think makes me more creative! I love glitter, combat boots and wine and I struggle hard core with being a little chubby. I'm working on a tattoo 1/2 sleeve because I've wanted one for 10 years and by golly I'm old enough to do what I want, lol!

We have three kids who we love so much, even when they're driving us crazy. Life is like a tornado but I can't image it any differently!

We capture your day the way you've always dreamed. Because wedding planning can be overwhelming, I love to take off some of the stress off of your shoulders. I create a custom wedding day timeline with all my brides and have an easy checklist to ensure that your family portraits include everyone you want.
Maternity sessions are up to an hour and can take place either at my studio or outdoors. I have a closet of maternity gowns available for use at your session, as well as an assortment of flower crowns to use if you like. Maternity sessions are best between 30-34 weeks. You receive a $100 credit towards your order.
Baby plans are a package of sessions designed to capture different milestones in your baby's life. Whether that's maternity and newborn sessions, newborn and first year, or the big milestones of the first year, there's an option for you. We believe that capturing not only your sweet baby but also your family and their relationship is so important, which is why Moms and Dads and siblings are welcome at any session.
The boys are on top of it this year, starting off the senior season! Kayden let me try out some new things and we got to do some gym pictures which I totally love. Getting to do things a little bit out of the box is the best! Every year, so far anyway, the Senior model team has done a shoot at Monument Rocks near Oakley KS.

The pictures are nice, however I thought it was ridiculous that after the $300 session, in order to get any pictures whatsoever you are required to purchase her products. And a package of products at that.. when I got my products some were missing and had to wait even longer to receive them. If you’re wanting beautiful pictures to hang up around your house at whatever price this is the place to go to. I just can’t imagine having a huge maternity picture in my living room lol. So when guest come over I love to show them my $1000 picture book.

I don’t recommend her.. she started off good but ended up but being someone I wouldn’t recommend ever doing business with again.. if you chose to WATCH AND make sure your order is correct before walking out of her building.. and make sure she is honest about purchases. She only listens to one parent not both but will take orders from both.. she likes her money.. and it’s not worth it!

Very upset I asked for a cake smash for my daughter when I arrived she told me she didn’t provide the cake. She never told me to take my own cake. Even after she said I didn’t need anything for my daughter.! I understand every photographer is different but it would of been nice to have been told to bring my own cake. She charges 300 for session and still charges for the pictures and the print not everyone wants them print. She needs to communicate better.

April has done our family photos for years and has always been kind, responsive, and honest. She provided outfits and hair bands for my daughter during her newborn and 1 year pictures. She provided me a dress for my maternity pictures when I did not have anything to wear. She made me feel beautiful during my photo shoot and it shows in the pictures. April has an incredible amount of props she provides for use for newborns and adults with a wide assortment of colors. The pictures are beautiful and completed quickly. April photographed my daughter's engagement pictures as well as her wedding pictures, and we are blown away by her talent! Her attention to detail and her ability to capture the emotions of the people that she is photographing is second to none, and we will definitely be coming back to April for pictures in the future...maybe a sweet newborn photo session in a few years. ❤
