Dr. Bryan Suydam is a general dentist devoted to restoring and maintaining the oral health of his patients. He utilizes modern practices and conservative techniques that result in beautiful, long lasting smiles! Dr. Suydam received his undergraduate degree from Temple University in 2004. He continued on to earn his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2008.
Upon graduation, he was accepted to a general practice residency program with the University of Vermont and Fletcher Allen Health Care. There he received more advanced surgical and clinical training. Since completing his training, Dr. Suydam has practiced dentistry in the state of Hawaii where he and his family lived until recently moving back to his home state of Pennsylvania.

Bryan Suydam DMD offers a wide range of services encompassing family dentistry, preventative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and general dentistry. Dr. Suydam treats adults and children. We are happy to accept patients of all ages. We understand that it can be particularly difficult for families with busy lives and busy schedules to fit in the dentist.

I was a first time patient and made an appointment due to a dental emergency. I was seen the very next day. I am pretty sure they were fully booked but found time for me.
After my examination Dr. Suydam went over all my available options and I decided a crown was the best course of action.
He was booked solid but they managed to get me in for the crown preparation within two days.
Dr. Suydam's work was A+.
The crown prep went smooth and he took the time to make sure it was as close to perfect as possible. (and it was)

I admit, I changed jobs quite a while ago, so my second appointment with Dr. Suydam was a stretch longer than it should have been. That being said, I have NO complaints. The hygienist Adam was attentive and informed Dr. Suydam of my concerns regarding my grinding. And also he was very thorough and explained EVERYTHING. Quite frankly Dr. Suydam is THE BEST in the area and should Adam decide to pursue endeavors somewhere else, someone will have some VERY tough shoes to fill!

I've been to Dr. Suydam's office twice in the past month, once for a long overdue cleaning and then again for a filling. As a new patient, I was very pleased with how easy it was to schedule and how smooth the new patient process was. Jackie in the front office was so nice and helpful in working with me. My hygenist was excellent and she really took the time to make me feel comfortable. When I returned for my filling, Dr. Suydam had me out the door in under 30 minutes! Every aspect of the care with Dr Suydam has exceeded my expectations. It begins with your interaction on the phone as you schedule the appointment, how you are greeted upon arrival.and my interaction with Dr Suydam.
I also need to give a “shout out” to Adam Pearl, my dental hygienist. His professionalism and thoroughness is exceptional.
Definitely a wise move to this dental group.

I really wanted to move my entire family to this practice, but after my daughter’s appointment I was completely turned off. I will say Dr. Suydam was pleasant and professional, but these days it’s the hygienist that can make the biggest impact and ours was smug at best. He passive-agressively warned my 2 year old he’d have to sit in the waiting room if he couldn’t “control himself” after he attempted to close the exam room door and it hit the exam chair-not his fault the room is so small the door can’t be closed. I have been looking for a new dentist. I called Dr. Suydam office and got an appointment for the following day. I was very surprised that I got an appointment so quickly. He is very nice and I thought knowledgeable. With my first appointment the hygienist said they do EIGHTEEN EXRAYS. I thought this was excessive I felt like I was getting thumped on the head. New patients should be told of this before their appointment.The hygienist( I don't remember her name) was a very young girl who I thought was very unsure of herself and seemed like she has not done this job for very long. I was looking for a new dentist and came across an advertisement for Dr Suydam's new practice in Sewickley. I will be looking no more! It was easy to book an appointment at my convenience, and I was seen promptly after I arrived and filled out the new patient forms. I liked the fact that he uses digital xrays so that uncomfortable contraption isn't in your mouth for but a second or so. Dr. Suydam is the best dentist I have ever had. Adam the hygienist is great. Bryan and Adam are very thorough and patient in explaining all procedures and questions you may have and very flexible in working with you to resolve any of your dental problems. Jackie and Gabby are very pleasant and easy to talk to and all four of them are super friendly to boot. Very kind and gentle people. When our last dentist, who we adored, retired, we were at a loss to find another one that we could trust. Well, we landed in a GREAT place! This practice is so organized and well run.
