St. Luke and St. Peter's Preschool provides quality educational services, with trained Early Childhood Educators presented in a Christian environment of love and mutual respect. As an outreach to the community, our church has been offering a preschool program for two, three, and four year olds within a Christian environment since 1999.

What started with 8 students has grown to 75 - 85 students. Our goal is to help children grow emotionally, behaviorally, and academically. At each developmental level we provide a wide range of meaningful age-appropriate hands-on learning experiences. We understand that children learn through exploration and we "play with a purpose" which helps with independent thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Services
St. Luke and St. Peter's Preschool offers part-time preschool for two, three and four year olds. Our hours are from 9:00am to 12:30pm each day. We also offer our "Lunch Bunch" program where children bring a healthy lunch from home and have an opportunity to extend their day. We help the children learn to open their lunches independently and use their manners, which will help them when they go into Elementary school.
Our number one goal for the two year old program is social development. Two year olds need help transitioning from solitary and/or parallel play to cooperative play. We support this transition by offering activities that involve all their senses and allow them to work together. We introduce them to all preschool activities and help get them ready for the three year old program.
Children learn best through exploration. We also know that all children learn differently so we offer activities that are not just auditory but visual and kinesthetic as well. Our days include circle times (1 secular and 1 biblical), playground time, snack time, and center time. We develop the skills they will need to be successful in the four year old program.
Our goal for the four year olds is to prepare them for Kindergarten. We do this by offering activities which meet the Florida State Standards. We encourage our students to be independent thinkers by letting them figure things out in small groups. We are also center based, which allows them opportunities to develop conflict resolution skills needed for elementary school.
St. Luke St. Peter's Preschool is fortunate to have a staff with college degrees and/or CDAs averaging four to sixteen years of experience teaching preschool children. Our low teacher-to-student ratio allows your child to learn in a small group environment. Our 2 year old program offers one teacher per five children, while our 3 year old programs offer one teacher per maximum 10 children.
